Don't share your location online! Wait until after you leave to post the places you visited, so unwanted people are not able to track you.
Keep a copy of important travel documents such as passports, IDs, and important contact information of hotels and people your are traveling with, with someone back home, incase of emergency.
Use a buddy system. When traveling in a group be sure to always move in pairs and communicate with your groups where you’re going.
Drink Safely! Make sure you know what you are drinking and do it in moderation. Never leave drinks unattended.
Hydrate, it is important to keep yourself hydrated to keep yourself energized.
Educate yourself on local news to where you are traveling so that you can keep up to date on revelent information.
