In this issue:

Greek of the Month is a peer-to-peer recognition given to members of the Fraternity & Sorority Community who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, academic accomplishment, and brotherhood/sisterhood. This individual is a person of good moral character who upholds the values of the fraternal community and the University.

Alyson Pappas ΚΑΘ Alyson is the Vice President of Membership for Kappa Alpha Theta has been an outstanding member of the Greek community. Alyson shows outstanding enthusiasm in everything that she does and has taken it upon herself to engage her entire chapter in recruitment by holding a song competition. Outside of Greek life, Alyson participates in the Big Brother/Big Sister program, holds a job working with a speech pathologist and was a team leader on a January trip to Mississippi to rebuild houses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Her nominator, Jennifer Prior of Kappa Alpha Theta said, “her creativity and enthusiasm inspires us all...Alyson has many of the characteristics of a great leader.”

Events to Look Forward to in April: Greek Week 2008! Greek Week is a week-long celebration for all of the fraternities and sororities on campus. It is a chance for members of various Greek-lettered student organizations to come together and celebrate the spirit and pride of being part of a fraternity/sorority. United together, the Greek community uses this time to show their passion for scholarship, service, leadership, and brother/ sisterhood. All events are open to the campus community.
