Teacher Induction–CA Clear Credential Programs
For Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and Education Specialist teachers, UCLA Extension’s Teacher Induction California Clear Credential program is a two-year, individualized, jobembedded system of mentoring, support, and professional learning for newly credentialed teachers. Two program tracks are available: the School Mentor Track, for teachers that have a site-based mentor selected and approved by their school administrator, and the University Mentor Track, where UCLA Extension will match participating teachers with a highly qualified mentor teacher. Both program options offer fully online course format, ability to clear multiple preliminary credentials, Early Completion Option (ECO), and BTSA Waiver.
Early Childhood Lead Teacher Advanced Courses

Continue your education to advance your career and become an ECE (Early Childhood Education) Lead or Master teacher. The certificate is for students who have an Associate Teacher permit or certificate and are ready to earn the 24 ECE/CD semester units for professional advancement. Elementary school teachers can use these units to teach in Transitional Kindergarten.
College Counseling
The certificate is designed for secondary school counselors, teachers, career counselors, and others who want to develop their professional competencies or are interested in establishing an independent educational consulting practice.
College Counseling Mentorship Program
Many of our certificate students create a strong bond with their College Counseling instructors during the length of the program. Occasionally, our students seek out the opportunity for more guidance from a particular instructor on a specific topic related to college admissions advising. Students enrolled in the College Counseling Certificate program may work one-on-one with an instructor of their choice. Students may choose to purchase a two-hour, three-hour, or four-hour block of time with an instructor, at $150 per hour. Meetings between the instructor and the student take place in a scheduled, synchronous format through our learning-management system, Canvas.
College Counseling Bootcamp Courses
The purpose of these short, intensive courses is to introduce potential counselors who are new to the field to numerous aspects of the college admissions process. During the course, students develop an understanding of key factors such as financial aid and the impact of standardized test scores. Upon completion, students are prepared to continue their studies in counseling or pursue advanced topics via enrollment in the full College Counseling Certificate program. The ideal student for this course is an aspiring college advisor, current school counselor, CBO advisor, or other professional working in college advising who seeks to expand his or her experiential learning of college admissions.
