WHAT IS THE SCIENCE CO-OP PROGRAM?
The Faculty of Science offers students the opportunity to integrate 4 to 16 months of supervised paid work experience into their degree. This lets them experience the connections between academic knowledge and employment opportunities, establish a professional network and explore possible career paths prior to graduation.

HOW TO HIRE A SCIENCE CO-OP STUDENT
• Work terms must be a minimum of 4 months and have a start date in early May, September, or January.
• We recommend posting 8-month positions for consistency in training and the greatest opportunity for growth and value-added work.
• Posting co-op opportunities is free. We recommend posting jobs for a minimum of 2 weeks. You may also cross post to other Co-op and Internship Programs at the University of Calgary.
