The Student Government Association (SGA) is a representative body of 29 students elected to serve their colleges, classes, or as members-at-large. SGA serves as the voice of the student body and works to resolve issues affecting students at UAFS. Examples include the creation of the Recreation and Wellness Center, extended library hours, additions to increase campus safety, and much more. SGA elections will take place in the fall semester for Freshman Class Representative. In addition to their role in SGA, the Freshman Class Representative serves as the chair of the Freshman Council, a group of freshman students working to serve as the voice of the freshman class, and provide recommendations to the SGA. If you are interested in running for Freshman Class Representative or serving on the Freshman Council, please email sga@uafs.edu.
