Biography of Tyler Berl Paramedic/Registered Nurse (Healthcare) St. Johns, Florida — Tyler Berl′s life’s work has been shaped by moments when seconds matter, and decisions carry weight. For more than 15 years in Jacksonville, Florida, he has provided direct clinical care as a steadying hand to patients when they’re most panicked. He is trained and board-certified in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and tactical medicine, and he provides critical care transport as a nurse. Tyler first became a licensed paramedic in 2011, an occupation that requires technical proficiency and emotional equilibrium. He immediately felt drawn to high-acuity settings, environments where sound judgment coupled with exact execution means the margin between life and fatality. That instinct led him to Orange Park Medical Center, where he spent six years on the Emergency Department floor before qualifying for a position on the trauma team.

Inside the Emergency Department Tyler worked with doctors, nurses, and trauma surgeons at Orange Park Medical Center. Trauma activations, cardiac arrests, severe infections, pediatric emergencies, strokes, and major cardiac events were part of daily life.
