Parade of homes™ Builder Reminders Parade Builder Supply Pickup & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Tuesday, June 1, 2021 10 a.m. at TABA Office Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to kick off ticket sales for the Parade of Homes™! Addresses will also be released to the public.
president’s Message TABA Members, It’s almost time for the 68th Annual Parade of Homes™ and I hope you’re planning to attend! Please be sure to welcome our firsttime Parade builders, Brent Bishop, Chris Van Meter, Kerry Hamblett & TIm Twigg! You can find Parade dates and hours on the cover of this newsletter and all addresses are available beginning June 1st at TylerAreaBuilders.com. In addition to supporting the Parade with your attendance, be sure to share our event on Facebook! I’d like to thank our generous sponsors. Since many of our members are busy with the Parade this month, we will not have After Hours, but be sure to join us in July! Also, as you plan your summer, I hope you’ll consider attending the Sunbelt Builders Show in Dallas. Early bird pricing ends June 18th. Following the ceremony, a Parade Builder or a representative from your office must pick up your Parade supplies. Staff will also give instructions for the new Parade app, which will be used to process tickets at the Parade. The Parade of Homes™ committee will begin making initial inspections of the homes. Completion Requirements Friday, June 4, 2021 The Builder must complete construction of the home by noon on Friday. Any home deemed not complete by the Parade of Homes™ committee upon its last inspection prior to the opening of the Parade of Homes™ shall withdraw from the Parade. Please refer to the 2021 Parade of Homes™ builder contract for completed home requirements. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, by 4 pm Payment for tickets sold in the form of the Builder’s check or money order and all unsold tickets shall be turned in to the TABA office, along with all Parade supplies. As always, please refer to the 2021 Parade of Homes™ contract and staff emails for full guidelines and deadlines.
