President’s Message

TABA Members, First off, thank you to everyone who supported our Professional Women in Building Council Wine & Sign event and a huge thanks to everyone who joined the PWB! I’m excited for the future of this council. Photos from the Wine and Sign and more information about PWB happenings will be featured in the June issue of TABA Times.

For the month of May, we’ll kick things off with After Hours Sponsored by Inside Out Living Spaces and this will be at their showroom - don’t come to TABA. Builders, the jackpot is $600! You must be present to win. Each month, a builder member’s name has been drawn from the jackpot and they weren’t there to claim free money!

Also, our All Member Cookout is back! All members and their staff are invited to join us for a free lunch at our All Member Cookout. This is always a good time, so make plans to join us.

Finally, but most importantly, it’s almost time for a Parade! Tickets go on sale and addresses will be revealed on Tuesday, May 31st.

Parade Builder or a representative from your office must pick up your Parade supplies. We will also go over the Parade app and any updates made to the app since last year. The Parade of Homes committee will begin making initial inspections of the homes. Parade tickets also go on sale and addresses are released to the public on this date.

Completion Requirements Friday, June 3, 2022 The builder must complete construction of the home by noon on Friday. Any home deemed not complete by the Parade of Homes committee upon its last inspection prior to the opening of the Parade of Homes shall withdraw from the Parade.

In April, the TABA Executive Committee hosted the annual Past Presidents Luncheon for all TABA Past Presidents. Attendees were able to share stories about their time serving TABA, and hear an update about current events at TABA.
