TABA Members, Just a quick flip through this newsletter and you will see, April is a busy month at TABA. From After Hours, to the Spring General Membership Meeting, not to mention the Spring Golf Tournament, there are many important events this month. I hope you’ll make a point to participate in some of these worthwhile events. This month, I’m most excited to tell you about our brand new, local chapter of the Professional Women in Building Council! The Professional Women in Building Council has a very successful and growing presence across the state of Texas, as well as throughout the National Association of Home Builders. This year, the TABA Board of Directors has enthusiastically decided it is time for local representation of the PWB. Many important initiatives for the building industry are happening through PWB. I invite you to attend our Wine & Sign where you can learn more about these inititiaves and our vision for our local council. PWB is open to all members, not just women, and I hope you’ll show your support be attending our Wine and Sign. Thanks, Erin Wright TABA President

Parade Builders, photos will be taken for the Parade of Homes™ magazine, and this will be be the final proof of your Builders page and the map included in the magazine. Ideally, no changes will be made since this is intended as a final proofing, so please make sure you are communicating with TABA staff prior to this date regarding any changes to your rendering, ammenities list, subcontractor list, etc.
Parade of Homes Ticket/Supplies Pickup Tuesday, May 31, 2022 10 a.m. at TABA Office Parade Builder or a representative from your office must pick up your Parade supplies. We will also go over the Parade app and any updates made to the app since last year. The Parade of Homes committee will begin making initial inspections of the homes. Parade tickets also go on sale and addresses are released to the public on this date. Completion Requirements Friday, June 3, 2022 The builder must complete construction of the home by noon on Friday. Any home deemed not complete by the Parade of Homes committee upon its last inspection prior to the opening of the Parade of Homes shall withdraw from the Parade. Please refer to the 2022 Parade of Homes builder contract for completed home requirements. As always, please refer to the 2022 Parade of Homes contract and staff emails for full guidelines and deadlines. Contracts can be downloaded: • from the Parade of Homes™ page at TylerAreaBuilders.com, • or hover your phone camera over the QR code above. • or you can pick up a copy at the TABA office. The Parade of Homes™ will be June 4-12, 2022
