pages ! e id 20-21 s in In the past month, two roads near Six Nations and Caledonia have each experienced blockades set up by a group of protestors mainly from Six Nations who are upset with the government`s perceived renege on the 2006 promise to return the Burtch Land to Six Nations. The roadblock on Argyle Street just off Highway 6 was up for almost one month while the second, on the Highway 6 bypass, was short-lived. The Highway 6 bypass was blocked for a few hours on Monday, but as of Tuesday was taken down and now both roadways are open to traffic. No arrests were made, and there were no injuries reported.
