WHERE IT BEGINS IMAGINATION IS OFTEN WHERE DESIGN BEGINS — BUT RARELY WHERE IT ENDS. “ This journal does not document a contest. It captures a moment — when ideas crossed borders, patterns carried memory, and fabric became a language. This is where imagination happened. ”

Ray Chen, Founder

OUR WAY OF SEEING HOME AS GALLERY The spaces we live in deserve creative respect. FABRIC AS MEDIUM Fabric carries light, movement, and emotion. DESIGN AS LANGUAGE Design speaks before words. 04

JYLL MACKIE MY WORK BEGINS WITH OBSERVATION —

The quiet details that shape everyday life: how light moves through a room, how patterns repeat in nature, how a space slowly becomes home. I have always been drawn to Indian block prints — their rhythm, their warmth, the way they feel both timeless and human. For years, I searched for a simple block print in a cream and burgundy palette for my daughters’ shared bedroom, but never quite found what I had imagined. W h e n t h e T W O PAG E S X D e s i g n Co n t e s t appeared, it felt like an invitation to finally bring that vision to life. I studied traditional block print motifs and hand-carved stamp patterns, then began sketching my own interpretation — something calm, grounded, and meant to grow with the space it lives in. Seeing this design exist beyond my screen, translated into fabric, changed the way I understand my own work. It reminded me that design doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful — sometimes its power lies in subtlety, texture, and restraint.

A PATTERN, MADE FOR HOME DESIGNED TO GROW WITH THE HOME IT INHABITS.

The Jyll Mackie x TWOPAGES Collection reimagines traditional block prints with a modern, handcrafted touch. Featuring three coordinating designs — Laine, Rhodes, and Wilder — the collection offers effortless harmony between pattern and texture. Soft earthy tones and small-scale motifs make each design beautiful on its own, yet achieve perfect harmony when layered together, creating a warm, timeless aesthetic that feels both curated and lived-in. KATE FROST MY WORK IS ROOTED IN THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE WHERE I LIVE —

In rivers, meadows, and forests filled with quiet beauty and history, I find endless inspiration in nature’s fleeting moments — a dragonfly gliding across the water, a stag appearing between trees, or the gentle rhythm of a riverside walk. Each pattern in this collection captures a story from the landscape around me. Dragonflies & Water Lilies reflects joy and transformation; Majestic Stag expresses strength and stillness; Riverside Reverie evokes flow, reflection, and renewal — together creating a connection between nature, memor y, and place. Color is an important part of my storytelling. Inspired by the Somerset landscape, I chose soft sky blues, warm golden neutrals, and heritage tones drawn from Arts & Crafts textiles to bring a sense of calm, balance, and timeless beauty. I believe thoughtful design has the power to preserve moments and bring nature’s quiet wonders into everyday spaces — creating homes that feel personal, comforting, and full of life.

KIM MORROW MY APPROACH TO DESIGN IS ROOTED IN RHYTHM AND REPETITION —

My work is rooted in a love of texture, heritage, a n d p a t te r n s d e s i g n e d to b e l i ve d w i t h . With a background in clothing and textiles, I approach design through both craftsmanship and function—considering not only how a pattern looks, but how it feels within a space over time. I’m drawn to enduring motifs such as plaids, stripes, heirloom botanicals, and woven structures because they carry a sense of familiarity, history, and quiet confidence. Texture is at the heart of my work. I often study hand embroidery, sashiko mending, block printing, woven linens, grasscloth, ceramics, and antique textiles—drawn to the imperfect beauty of materials shaped by human hands. Inspired by English interiors, artisan craft traditions, and the natural landscapes around me, I design patterns that feel collected rather than decorated—pieces that bring warmth, character, and a sense of lasting connection to a home.

LEAH BERIN MY DESIGN PROCESS IS DEEPLY PERSONAL.

It often begins with a feeling — a memory, a moment, or an emotion I want to hold onto a little longer. I'm inspired by the quieter parts of life: soft light in the morning, familiar textures, and the sense of comfort that comes from spaces designed with care. Th r o u g h L e a h N i co l e D e s i g n s , I a i m t o create patterns that feel lived-in rather than styled. I'm drawn to organic forms, gentle repetition, and palettes that feel warm without being overwhelming. These designs are meant to bring calm into a space, offering a sense of ease rather than demand. For me, design is about connection. It's about creating something that feels approachable and meaningful — patterns that can quietly support daily life while still carr ying emotion and intention. S e e i n g my w o r k t ra n s l a t e d i n t o fa b r i c reinforced that belief. When a design becomes something tangible — something you open, close, touch, and live with — it takes on a new layer of intimacy.

REBECCA HUGHES MY WORK LIVES AT THE INTERSECTION OF INTUITION AND STRUCTURE.

I ' m i n s p i r e d by n a t u ra l fo r m s — l e ave s , landscapes, organic movement — but my process is always grounded in order. I'm drawn to balance: between softness and precision, freedom and control. E a c h p a t t e r n b e g i n s w i t h h a n d - d raw n elements and obser vational sketches, which are then refined through repetition, alignment, and scale. This step-by-step process allows the design to feel expressive without becoming overwhelming. Color plays a deliberate role in that balance. I gravitate toward palettes that feel calm and considered, allowing the pattern to integrate seamlessly into a space rather t h a n d o m i n a t e i t . Th e g o a l i s a l w a y s harmony — patterns that can live quietly alongside furniture, light, and architecture. Translating this work into fabric reinforced the importance of restraint. Seeing the pattern realized at scale clarified what needed to stay — and what needed to be removed — so the final design could feel complete, functional, and ready to enter real interiors. 41

SABRINA RAMKHELAWAN MY WORK IS DEEPLY INFLUENCED BY CULTURAL MEMORY AND PERSONAL IDENTITY.

As a designer, my work is rooted in my emotional and personal connections to places. The places I've lived, visited, and had meaningful experiences in become great sources of inspiration. The hustle and bustle of New York City, the calmness felt driving along canyon roads in San Diego, and the centuries of history in the Art Nouveau details of Brunate, Italy. Those details tell a history of a place, spark a sense of nostalgia, and create a unique atmosphere that lingers even after you've left. My artistic style blends historic techniques with a modern perspective. I handd raw e a c h e l e m e n t to c r e a te t i m e l e s s patterns that feel both expressive and easy to live with. Designed to stand alone or layer together, my prints bring a sense o f h a r m o ny a n d c h a ra c te r to a s p a ce . I design what I want to see in my own home. My goal is to help people create spaces that feel collected over time and reflect what actually brings them joy.

A FINAL THOUGHT Life is not discovered. It is created.

In 2026, we go further. Design is not about decorating a room. It is about defining how we live. Pattern is not surface. It is direction. It shapes atmosphere. It defines taste. It expresses identity.

This year, we explore pattern not as ornament — but as influence. Beyond fabric. Beyond walls. Beyond expectation. Into space. Into lifestyle. Into culture. Because what we surround ourselves with shapes who we become. Make imagination happen. See you in 2026.
