“ I grew up in a farming community, so the bush and farming have always been very close to my heart, holding very fond memories of the quiet hum of life. Years later, the farming community it is still my favourite place to be, so I wanted to capture this in a fabric collection, and Appleby Farm was born. I have used the warm tones of the bush, the subtle greens, beiges and browns, along with the blues, pinks, reds and purples you find in gum leaves. You’ll find wheat, the check of the farmers shirts, birds flying in the sky, and all manner of farm animals, along with paraphenalia you find on every farm.”
