vPPR embraces historic buildings from all periods, finding inspiration in existing details and the traces of previous uses. A retrofit approach to existing buildings is highly sustainable as well as being conceptually powerful. We always look for clear, bold ways to engage with existing buildings, that enhance what is there without pretending to be part of the past. We often work with artists to help provide a rich, contemporary approach to each project.
Project types include listed buildings, post-industrial landscapes, offices, communal living spaces and art exhibitions as well as education institutions.
