FALL 2026 UPDATES

Dear Tiffin University Community, The 2026-27 academic year is off to an exceptional start. This fall, we welcomed more than 3,400 new and returning students to the Dragon Nation, each bringing new ideas, experiences and energy to our community. Across campus and online, students are settling into classes, building connections and taking advantage of the many opportunities available to them, while our faculty and staff continue to create an environment focused on learning, growth and student success. That momentum can be seen throughout Tiffin University as we introduce new academic programs, launch new fellowships and expand opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development. I encourage you to explore the latest news, updates and accomplishments from across TU and see some of the many ways our university continues to move forward.

TU Fellowships: An Applied Honors Program The Tiffin University Fellowship Program is not merely an academic honor – it is a commitment to excellence, preparation and purpose. Each Fellowship equips students to think critically, lead with confidence and enter the professional world ready to make an impact. With 186 fellows enrolled across nine programs and four new fellowships launching in fall 2026 – Hidden Digital Narratives, Crime Analysis, White-Collar Crime and Ethical Hacking – this program is growing because the need for principled, skilled graduates has never been greater.

Continuous Campus Renovations Campus renewal is a continuous priority, reflected in the renovation of our Registrar's Office, the Vision Room in the Hayes Center for the Arts, meaningful improvements to student housing and critical safety and infrastructure updates that strengthen the foundation of campus life. Across every facility and green space, these steady investments reflect our unwavering commitment to building a campus worthy of the students we are proud to serve.

Investment in our Systems Tiffin University is investing in the systems that power campus life. Colleague Self-Service, the Dragon Experience app and Atrium – our virtual ID for dining, the library and campus access – work together as one connected digital ecosystem, making every interaction smarter and more seamless for our entire community.

AI

Forward Initiatives At TU, we are embracing artificial intelligence with purpose and confidence through our AI Forward Initiatives. Our partnerships with CollegeVine and BoodleBox, along with Advancement's Ask a Dragon, bring new tools to how we connect with students, support learning and engage our community. These efforts reflect our commitment to preparing every Dragon for a future shaped by innovation.

The 2026-27 LIFE@TU season launched this fall, welcoming a record number of adults (over 220 members!) aged 50+ to its lifelong learning program. Participants enjoy weekly on-campus lectures on topics such as history, technology, arts, health and more.

Planned investments in the Gillmor Student Center expansion and a new campus walkway will strengthen connection, improve safety and accessibility and enhance everyday campus life. Meanwhile, increasing the University’s endowment will broaden scholarship opportunities, support academic innovation and help ensure a strong future for TU.
