TUSA is one of the world’s first scuba equipment manufacturers, founded

by Kazuo Tabata in Tokyo, Japan in 1952. From the first handmade mask and goggles built in Mr. Tabata’s garage, Tabata products have always been constructed from the finest materials with an unparalleled commitment to quality and innovation.

TUSA was the premier manufacturer to introduce crystal (surgical) silicone mask skirts with the original Liberator model and introduced the first range of vibrant colors to diving equipment.

For over 55 years, TUSA has shaped the future of diving and our dedicated team will continue to improve the scuba and watersports experience for future generations.

At Tabata our goal has always been to provide our users with innovative equipment of the highest quality. To ensure quality, Tabata has been certified by the International Standards Organization to their ISO 9001 standards for Tabata Japan and Tabata Taiwan. The ISO certification provides independent assurance of our commitment to developing and manufacturing innovative equipment to the highest international quality standards.
