Turtle Bay Museum: 20 Years and Counting Making memories has been the core of Turtle Bay Museumʼs mission since it opened its doors in 2002 along the Sacramento River. Twenty years later, the epicenter of science, art, history, and culture is celebrating a much-anticipated anniversary. Tutankhamun: Wonderful Things, Treasures from the Pharaohʼs Tomb A hundred years ago, an amazing discovery was unearthed — the “Boy Kingʼs” tomb. Fast forward to today, where the history and legacy of Ancient Egypt are alive and well. Turtle Bay Exploration Park is fortunate to host “Tutankhamun: ‘Wonderful Thingsʼ Treasures from the Pharaohʼs Tomb” until Monday, Sept. 5 during this special historical anniversary.
