Turner and Sons are the oldest company of Auctioneers and Valuers on Merseyside and almost certainly one of the oldest in the world.
We offer all the services you would expect of a modern Auctioneer.
We are still the only auctioneers in the Merseyside region to hold a fortnightly auction sale. We offer a pre-sale valuation and advice service. We specialise in Probate, antique, fine art and jewellery, but can accommodate a wide range of assets.
We also offer a full insured storage facility for any requirement but especially deceased estates.
In the past year Turner & Sons have held specialist auctions of rare jewellery, British gold coinage, Asiatic and Chinese art, Fine art including Lowry, Russell Flint and period furnishings, all aided by our on line sale platforms.
Please note as well as Merseyside, Wirral and Cheshire we regularly cover an area from North Wales to North Lancashire.
We offer a house clearance facility to deal with both saleable and none saleable items as well as dealing with any bequests that an estate might need collecting and delivering. We can also arrange specialist collections and deliveries for high value/unusual items.

The word "auction" is derived from auctus, the past participle of the Latin verb augeō, ("I increase").
