Corn Chowder

Ingredients:

• Potatoes cut into bite size pieces (2-6 depending on preference) • 2 cans sweet corn kernels • 1 can cream style corn • 1 onion chopped and sautéed until almost tender • 1 pint half and half • 1 stick butter • Salt and Pepper to taste • Worcestershire sauce Directions:

Boil potatoes and onion just covered in water until almost tender, do not drain. Add 2 cans corn, 1 can cream style corn and 1 stick of butter. Stir. Add in half and half. Heat until heated through and butter has melted. Add salt and pepper. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to pot or your bowl.

This money was raised by the employees through the “Casual for a Cause” program at BHB&T. “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bath/Brunswick is incredibly appreciative of this important gift from Bar Harbor Bank & Trust,” said Lindsay MacDonald, executive director of BBBS. “This donation from Bar Harbor Bank & Trust shows their support of one-to-one mentoring programs for youth that are facing adversity. Our professionally supported Big and Little relationships are proven to help the youth of our communities have higher aspirations, improved educational success, and better relationships so that they achieve their full potential in life.
