Offer engaging spaces that support social interactions and the ability to work anywhere. Create hospitality zones that bridge the transition between home and work.
Provide a variety of spaces for all modes of collaboration. Furniture that is modular and easily reconfigured encourages multi-use. Support mobility throughout the day with global access to technology.
Why we gather with one another at work can be distilled to four reasons: to connect socially, to think together, to do something specific, and to inform one another. Foster human connections and accommodate different types of collaboration by adding more meeting spaces to your footprint.
Will workspaces be assigned or unassigned?
How will partion / screen height affect privacy and the ability to focus?
Will you utilize sit-to-stand workstations?
What organizational policies and practices support individual work preferences?
How much focus work versus collaborative work does your team engage in?
How can employees control their environment to minimize external distractions?
Are there spaces for employees to easily have a confidential conversation?

Culture starts with what people do and how they do it. In any industry, what people do may not differ dramatically, but high-performing organizations distinguish themselves by HOW they do it. A well-designed workstation supports and encourages specific tasks and work styles.

Provide open spaces for groups to decompress and generate new ideas. Unassigned areas change up the view and spark free-flowing conversations. A variety of seating supports relaxed postures and flexibility.
Offer spaces for groups to focus on deep thinking and problem-solving. Include clearly legible huddle space and seating that allows for changing postures during long stretches of concentration. Give groups access to resources through shelves and technology.

Plantscapes within a workspace connect people and nature within built environments providing wellness and stress relief
Artwork, books, and artifacts create interest and tell stories about the company’s history, culture and people
We pulled all offices & enclosed spaces to the interior of the plan to:
• Maximize natural daylight to common areas
• Demonstrate aesthetic qualities of our demountable walls systems
• Maximize acoustics
• Illustrate current design trends
• Create a way-finding element
• Culturally promote transparency and accessibility
We culturally embraced a nonassigned workspace model allowing users to choose the environment that allows them to perform their best. We implemented purpose-based zones for mock-up staging, tours, parties, seminars / large events, and internal company gatherings. The zoned layout helps create a tour narrative.
We incorporated neutral finishes and added punctuated elements of color and pattern to delineate spaces.
We harnessed the beauty and architectural heritage of the building.
A mix of Haworth and Haworth collection pieces demonstrate harmonious pairings and a wide range of product.
Distinct vignettes create a variety of work zones and attractions in the space to bring employees together.
We accommodate various postures of work.
We created implied and physical boundaries using furniture.
APPROXIMATELY 10,000 SF
We increased space utilization by reevaluating the design of underused spaces.
We embraced partner brands and highlighted Haworth textile partners and unique finishes.
We implemented universal technology and integrated it into the furniture.
We created more touch-downs and intimate meeting spaces.
We created a design that is changeable over time without requiring additional renovation.
As a working showroom, we have an opportunity to show clients the reality of how the Haworth universe of products can be used in a way that expresses a company’s unique culture, and functions at the same time.
