Paying your TID Bill is Easy, Convenient and Free!

“Convenience Fee” Eliminated When Paying by Credit Card, Debit Card or Directly From Your Bank Account!

In response to requests from customers, we’ve made it more convenient to pay your TID residential bill by eliminating the convenience fee when using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or direct debit from your bank account.

You can now pay your bill with your credit card without incurring convenience fees via the following payments: • Online using our E-Bills system: www.tid.org.

• Over the phone using TID’s automated system, available 24 hours a day at 1-866-742-8991.

• Paying in-person at our TID offices in Turlock, Ceres, or Patterson.

Budget Billing

If you’re like most households, the amount of your TID electric bill can vary widely throughout the year, and not knowing what to expect from month to month presents a challenge for budgets. To reduce this uncertainty and help you know what to expect, TID offers Budget Billing. Your monthly Electric Statement will continue to show the actual energy consumption and charges, but you’ll only pay your prearranged budget billing amount. The program simply divides your annual electric bill into equal monthly payments with recalculations made each year in March and September. Cool Off with TID Rebates Is your air conditioner on the fritz? Is it costing an arm and a leg to cool down your house? It may be time for a new central air conditioner.

TID customers can receive up to a $500 rebate when purchasing and installing a

new qualified central air conditioning or central heating unit.

Replacing your 10-year-old central air conditioner with a newer, more efficient model can reduce your cooling costs by 20 to 40 percent.

Additionally, if you heat your house with electricity, a central heat pump can trim heating costs by 30 to 40 percent.
