Safety & Security
Your safety and the security of your personal property is of the utmost importance to us. Please take advantage of the following suggestions.
DOUBLE LOCKS AND SAFETY LATCHES
For additional security, utilize the dead bolt lock provided on your door upon entering. This will prevent the door from being opened by a regular room key. As an additional precaution, please secure the safety latch.
ADMITTANCE
Do not admit persons to your room without first making identification. A door viewer is provided in your door for your convenience. If there is any doubt about the person’s true identity, please contact the Front Desk. Room numbers will not be given out by the Front Desk. The room must be called first before a guest receives visitors.
KEYS
Do safeguard your key. Be sure to leave it with the Front Desk upon departure. Do not leave it in your room. Do not give your key to others. Lock codes are changed with each new arrival. Keys will not be issued to anyone not on the reservation.
SECURITY
For all security related issues, please contact the Front Desk at extension 2200. Security guards are on duty at night to address noise or safety concerns.

Early check in is subject to availability for a fee of $50. Luggage can be stored with the Bell Staff.
PET POLICY (DOGS)
A non-refundable dog fee of $100 plus tax will be charged for stays up to two nights, or $150 plus tax for stays longer than two nights. This will be charged upon check-in. This fee does not include any additional costs which may result from any complaints of noise disturbance from other guests or costs associated with any injury or property damage related to the dog.
POOL/FITNESS CENTER
An adult must always accompany children under 13 at Turf Valley Resort’s Fitness Center and Pools. Please note, children under 13 are not permitted in the Hot Tub.
SMOKE FREE BUILDING
Turf Valley Resort is a smoke-free and cannabis-free establishment. Maryland law prohibits the use of cannabis inside public locations, and our resort falls under these public location regulations.
