Cooking Fundamentals 1

Registration must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the class start date to allow the required time to study your book. Enroll online or in-person and purchase your book/test answer sheet at the Career Services Center, 3420 S. Memorial Drive. Classes are taught in English; however, the ServSafe test is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French Canadian, and large print. You must indicate your test language preference at the time of enrollment so the appropriate test can be ordered for you.

Wow your friends and family with your culinary skills. Demonstrations, paired with hands-on experiences, will cover culinary principles, use of tools, knife skills, food preparation, how to make salad and dressing. TULSA COUNT Y SHERIFF’S OFFICE ( T C S O) G U N R A N G E Take US 75 North to 66th Street North, Turn East on 66th Street, continue to the end of 66th Street before the road turns north into Lakewood, look for gravel road and TCSO Range Sign. The class is held in the Yellow Trailer. TCSO Range is to the east of the US Shooting Academy and the City of Tulsa Police Range.

Required training criteria for Armed Security and/or Armed Private Investigator Licensing.

Instruction includes weapon nomenclature and inspection, shooting fundamentals, and safety per CLEET standards. Training will include 12 hours of classroom learning and 20 hours of on-range instruction and qualifying exercises. Successful completers will have 100% attendance, score 85% or better on written tests and pass all CLEET qualifications on-range, and pass the CLEET Phase IV testing to be eligible for making an application for licensing. You will be required to supply all personal protective equipment, weapon, belt, holster, 3 magazines, and 400-450 rounds of NEW ammunition. Background check and fingerprints required. Online Courses

Your Privacy & Tulsa Tech

Students must drop on or before the seventh day after the scheduled course start date to receive a full refund.

Failure to attend does not constitute a drop. Credit card payment refunds are issued to the appropriate credit card account. However, all other forms of refund payments are issued in the form of a check that is mailed to the current address and may require up to 3 weeks to process. No refunds for books.

FLEX Courses

Your privacy is of great importance to us.

Information submitted will be held in strictest confidence and will be used only by Tulsa Tech officials for admission, registration and enrollment and other similar services.

Classes over 16 hours Students may drop / transfer on or before the second scheduled class meeting to receive a full refund.

Classes under 16 hours Students may drop / transfer no later than the day prior to the scheduled start date to receive a full refund.

Part-Time Classes | Fall–Winter 2019

FLEX classes are not eligible for refunds.

Scholarships Available Call (918) 828-5000 for detailed information regarding scholarship opportunities for our certificate programs and certification classes.

Qualifying individuals may receive up to 100% of tuition, books and fees. The scholarship application must be submitted at a minimum of two weeks in advance of class start date.
