1: Imagine Dragons returns as part of the BOK Center’s “10 for 10” anniversary celebration.

1-26: Visit Tulsa Botanic Garden to view its current outdoor art exhibit, “Lifting the Landscape,” featuring works by artist Christopher Curtis.

2, 4, 5: Head to ONEOK Field this month to watch the Tulsa Drillers take on the Arkansas Travelers, Corpus Christi Hooks, San Antonio Missions, Springfield Cardinals and Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Also Aug. 14-16, 18-19, 26-30.

3: Beacon Drive plays classic rock at the Gardens at LaFortune Park concert this month. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

3-5: Even a young bard has a fling at romance. American Theatre Co. presents “Shakespeare in Love” at the Tulsa PAC. Repeats Aug. 10-12.

4: Cain’s Ballroom welcomes country singer-songwriter Dylan Scott.

Alt/indie rockers Knox Hamilton, Brother Sundance and Future Tapes hit the Vanguard.

4-5: Bring the family to the Beach Street Sand Volleyball Tournament outside the BOK Center. You’ll find three volleyball courts, food trucks, live music and a VIP swimming pool.

5: BOK Center presents rockers Panic! at the Disco

8: See and hear your favorite singing contestants and winners again when the “American Idol LIVE! Tour” hits the Brady Theater.

Alternative-world musical collective Nahko and Medicine for the People visit Cain’s Ballroom. Xiuhtezatl opens.

9: Hear “Heart of Glass,” “Call Me” and other Blondie hits as the rockers take the stage at the Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

10: It’s “Independence Day” when country songstress Martina McBride returns to the Joint.

10-12: Theatre Tulsa presents the Tony Award-winning Disney musical “Newsies” at the Tulsa PAC. Repeats Aug. 17-19 and 24-26.

11: Brady Theater presents “Darci Lynne and Friends,” featuring the “America’s Got Talent” winner and Oklahoma native ventriloquist.

Got the blues on your mind? B.B. King’s Blues Band, featuring Tito Jackson, hits Cain’s Ballroom.

Paradise Cove at River Spirit Casino Resort welcomes comedian Ken Jeong.

11-12: Watch cowboys hold on for dear life atop frantic bulls, when the BOK Center hosts PBR: Unleash the Beast.
