Gary C. Clark Distinguished Service Award Dan Crawford

Not only has Dan volunteered over three hundred hours in personally answering calls, over the years he has consistently obtained participation from Judges and law professors, in addition to the private attorneys. These professionals come year after year, not only to help the cause, but because they see how well it is run.

This year, Dan helped spearhead the program change from the OETA location to the Tulsa County Bar Association, hosting with their own equipment. Dan took the time to ensure that each participant was comfortable with the new technology being used. In fact, this year’s numbers show a sixty percent increase in calls received compared to last year’s numbers.

As I mentioned earlier, Dan also used his creative talents for the programs. Dan personally created yearly posters to garner attention to the event. Below are two such examples: Another fact worthy of notation is that Dan reached one thousand calls that were documented over a cumulative 96 hour period. Dan has worked very hard to achieve this milestone. If there is anyone worthy of this award, it is Dan Crawford and it is my absolute privilege to be able to nominate him.
