MEMBER EVENT

Welcome to a new year. I have passed the gavel and I am officially a past-President. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you. This year was unique as it was a virtual year. My main goals were to make sure members stayed connected, informed and engaged, create a new user-friendly website, and provide an updated and remodeled Bar Center so that when we are able to gather in person, our members will have a great place to meet.

I have often heard that a leader is only as good as their team. Well, that is very true. I want to say thank you to the stellar Executive Committee: Kara Vincent, Philip Hixon, Natalie Sears, Mike Esmond, Lesa Creveling and Past President, Jim Milton. I also want to thank the Board of Directors for their faithful service to the TCBA. I want to give a special thank you to the TCBA staff, Tami Williams and our new Membership Director, Julie Rivers.

I will continue to serve the TCBA. I am dedicated to the continued success of our organization and the needs of our members. I am pleased to pass the torch to your new President, Kara Vincent. She is full of energy and has great things planned for this year. Thank you all for your support and encouragement this past year. I am humbled that you allowed me to serve as your President.
