Paralegal Section Announces

The current TCBA paralegal section wishes to announce the new slate of officers for their section for the upcoming 2021-2022 year. On behalf of Gloria Jones, Chair, Debbie Gresh, Vice-Chair, and Karlyn Apon, secretary, we would like to congratulate Karlyn Apon as the new Chair for the upcoming year, Kathy Keener, as the new Vice Chair, and Sheri Ward as the new secretary. In addition, the paralegal section was one of two sections to inaugurate the newly remodeled conference room on June 10th in holding our elections. The paralegal section currently is in its 11th year and is the only paralegal association affiliated with a local bar association in the State of Oklahoma. During the 2020-2021 year, the paralegal membership has grown to 63 members.

We wish to encourage all Tulsa County paralegals to join our section at the start of the TCBA membership drive in August of 2021. There are many benefits to being a member including advanced and specialized CLE at membership rates, ability to join other TCBA practice sections for only $15.00 a year, networking opportunities with attorneys and with fellow paralegals, attendance at free seminars put on by the TCBA and the paralegal section itself on a variety of topics, and free discounts and other membership perks offered by the TCBA.
