Why TCC?

According to a TCC student survey, 96.1% of students said if they had to start college over again, they would probably or definitely enroll at TCC. In 2023, we graduated 2,433 students. Ready to join the next class?

We serve more Oklahoma students than any other college or university in the state, and our alumni succeed at better rates than those who start elsewhere.

Financial Aid

• 24% of our incoming freshmen attend TCC tuition-free via Tulsa Achieves.

• Students can save between $22,000-30,000 on the first two years of college compared to other regional schools.

Degrees and Certificates

• 54% of students are enrolled in university transfer programs.

• 22% increase in degrees and certificates awarded since 2016.

Earning Potential

• An associate degree is worth $400,000 more than a high school diploma over an adult’s working life.

Pay Less for a Great College Education.

Completing your first two years of college at TCC will literally save you thousands. With various financial aid opportunities, you can graduate TCC debt-free or close to it.

A $50,000 student loan for your first two years at State U takes an average of 25 years at $309 a month to pay off, which works out closer to $92,000. And that’s just for the first two years.

TCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the same organization that accredits all the regional four-year schools, which means we meet the same rigorous academic standards. You get the same quality class credits, and you’re paying less for them.

Paying for College

Most TCC students qualify for some kind of financial aid. Financial Aid comes in the form of grants, scholarships, loans, and part-time employment from federal, state, institutional, and private sources.

The process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). And remember, if you need help, we’re here.

To find out what you qualify for, start here:

1. Apply to TCC. (tulsacc.edu/apply)

2. Complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). It’s what the government uses to check your eligibility for federal grants, work-study, state aid, school aid, and loans. You can submit for the next school year starting Jan. 1. Do so ASAP. The Federal deadline is June 30.

3. Apply for Tulsa Achieves. (tulsacc.edu/tulsaachieves) Tuition-free scholarship for Tulsa County Residents.

4. Apply for TCC Scholarships. The TCC Foundation provides thousands in financial aid to TCC students. The scholarship priority deadline is March 1, so don’t wait. Visit tulsacc.academicworks.com to check out what’s available.

If the unexpected occurs, we have help there, too. Our emergency grants can cover those unplanned life events that could otherwise derail your education. We’re here to help find solutions you need to finish what you start.

Visit Tulsacc.edu/scholarships to check out what’s available.

TULSA ACHIEVES: YOUR SCHOLARSHIP.FULL-RIDE

TCC’s Tulsa Achieves scholarship is easy math. If you’re a Tulsa County graduating high school senior with a 2.0 GPA, you can attend TCC with your first two years’ tuition and fees covered.

That’s whether you’re working to transfer to a four-year university or completing one of our work-ready programs.

More restaurants. More museums. More jobs. More concerts. More coffee shops. More parks and recreation. More of everything. All of them are awesome reasons to stay in Tulsa for College.
