Letter From Jeffrey Lamie Dear friends, I would like to start this letter by saying thank you. As the fundraising arm of Tucson Medical Center, the TMC Foundation is grateful for the broad and generous support we receive from our donors. Your advice, advocacy, and your philanthropy make an enormous difference in the health and welfare of Tucson and Southern Arizona. In the pages of this Report to Our Community, you will read about many points of pride that highlight how TMC fulfills its mission to provide exceptional health care with compassion. The TMC Foundation is committed to this mission and to raising funds to support the programs that enhance patient care. From our Children’s Miracle Network partners who fund more than $1 million of annual support for TMC for Children (often $1 at a time) to substantial major gifts commitments made by individuals, corporations and foundations, our donors share a common bond. They are true philanthropists who are committed to making a difference in people’s lives. Though we have had some pandemic-related challenges, such as postponing the annual TMC Foundation Gala, our community still came together to champion what matters. We had our strongest fundraising year ever, raising more than $8 million in 2021. Our TMC Mega Raffle also had its strongest year ever, raising $2.16 million. Thanks to you, we are doing great things – from providing the best medical technology for our tiniest patients in the NICU to ensuring neurology patients receive proper aftercare to increasing access to quality health care in rural areas such as Willcox and Benson. I extend all our thanks to you and the great people of our community for being a part of TMC’s story and for helping our organization to continue providing the best and most compassionate care to individuals, families, children and seniors. We are looking forward to even greater things in 2022. With gratitude,
Jeff Lamie
Vice President and Chief Development Officer TMC Foundation

Making a difference for kids and families of Southern Arizona Every minute, more than 60 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment. In fact, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals treat one in 10 children in North America each year. At TMC for Children, Southern Arizona’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, we care for your child whether they are facing a visit to the Emergency Department, an inpatient surgery, or need access to lifechanging therapies.
In 2021, with the support of great donors, big and small, including our local CMN Corporate Partners, more than $1.2 million was raised in support of our kids and most of it was donated one dollar at a time by individuals just like you. Best of all, everything you give stays local to benefit TMC for Children. With support from the community and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we can change kids’ health and change the future. Thank you.
