Dedication

"Peace on earth, " the spoken words of the Gospel, propose Christ's first commandment to man which is to love. Man asks, "Where can I find peace?" The answer to this is in love--1ove of oneself, and love of all mankind. When extended this love becomes world peace. We, the Senior Class of 1967, dedicate this annual to peace because of its need in our homes, in our streets, in our country, and in our world. Love is peace; peace is love.

Most Reverend Francis]. Green D . D .

We Setonians express our gratitude to Bishop Green for both his spiritual and material support of our school. He has performed, and continues to perform a great work : the education of Catholics in the way of peace.

For six years now Seton has been a tri -parish high school. As a centralized school it receives support from the three pastors of St. Mary's in Chandler, Christ the Kmg, and Queen of Peace, in Mesa. It is through the co-operation and assistance of these priests that Seton can continue to function and grow.

Seniors

Four years ago the class of 1967 began a rewarding stay at Seton. During this period a once unsure group of freshmen, new to the responsibilities and freedoms of high school, has now grown in mind, body, and spirit to become this year's seniors. With perseverance and honest interest, the seniors have sought out the maturity and knowledge which should be the end products of education. Through intelligent use of the scholastic, religious, athletic, and extra- curricular programs offered by our school, and through the personal studentteacher relationships which Seton, as a small institution, affords her students, the graduating class has come to a realization of its worth

When their final days as high school students come, the seniors will be prepared to step out into the world and face the future, with courage and enthusiasm; they will be prepared to meet life on its own terms as charitable Christians and productive citizens.

Motivated by their own self-determination and guided by the skilled instruction of their teachers the sophomores are finding their futures beginning to take focus. They are discovering that what 1s magnified before them is not what they have known, but, what they have yet to discover.

It is easily observed that the class of '69 will make great headway if they continue with their enthusiastic spirit of cooperation in all of Seton's scholastic and extra -curricular events.
