It is indeed “A New Season to rebuild God’s Kingdom”. Someone once said, “Build. Destroy. Rebuild. I’ve mastered the art of bouncing back. This is probably how a lot of us feel as individuals when it comes to rebuilding God’s Kingdom. We’re tired of having to rebuild again and again but, rebuilding is absolutely necessary in order to advance the kingdom of God. It’s been said, “Never be afraid to start over again. It is a chance to rebuild things right!” As a church, rebuilding is an opportunity to do things right according to God’s will, rather than our own. As the body of Christ, we have an opportunity to really impact people’s lives with the gospel of Christ as they find themselves searching for answers in these difficult times.

Saints of God we should be encouraged by some of the challenges that God’s people had to overcome back then. Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem when all the odds were against him, but he never gave up. Determination and persistence through God’s grace will allow us to do the same, to pursue relentlessly the rebuilding of God’s kingdom. In building, we cannot act as the people of the world. We need to follow God’s guidance, His instructions and His will. If we follow the Lord in obedience, He will meet all our needs concerning restoration of His kingdom. “Not by might nor by power, but by My spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” We must believe that the Lord will supply all the resources needed in this ministry to rebuilding this kingdom. God is calling the church at large to rebuild. In order for us to succeed it will take commitment, uncommon trust and total surrender to God’s will. Let me remind you, prayer and fasting keep the assaults, criticisms, laughter, anger, and the attacks of the enemy away long enough for us to rebuild God’s kingdom. Let us not allow yourselves to be intimidated by the Sanballats and the Tobiahs of this present world. There are times when prayer will stop the enemy while there are other times when prayer will keep them at arms distance. But whatever the case is remember this, when we combine prayer and work together the enemy cannot stop the progress of rebuilding.
