The TSU Wesley Foundation campus ministry extending the love of God to students of Tennessee State University and surrounding communities in the city of Nashville. Our ministry was brought to the TSU campus by United Methodist professor, Mrs. Ruth McDowell in the 1970's. Since then, it has continued to elevate into the present, rock the house ministry led by Reverend Michele Morton since 2009. We currently have three weekly services with dinner following each evening. Every Sunday, at 6 pm, we come together for Worship and a Word from The Lord. On Tuesdays at 6:30 pm we gather for Bible study where we learn ways to apply Christian living in our daily lives. Courageous Conversation forums and discussions are sessions where we engage in conversations woven together with our unique stories, thoughts and opinions.

The Wesley believes in the spirit of community building. With our services, conferences, community service projects, and social outings; we come together and enjoy God's Love through each other's presence and gifts. The Wesley is a student lead ministry; from the beautiful sounds of the praise and worship team to the fresh cooked meal served after every service. The Wesley is a safe haven to all who inhabit it and we strive to expand our outreach and continue to build and restore lives in our city. The Vision: The TSU Wesley Foundation is a safe community where God’s love and grace is proclaimed, faith stories are experienced and shared, the Holy Bible is studied, leaders are groomed; and worship is vibrant and transforming. We become a mission post where young adults become disciples dedicated to the ministry of Jesus Christ.
