Blazer Ceremony The Blazer Ceremony, a Trinity School of Texas tradition dating back
thirteen years, is a coming of age for many students. Incoming sixth graders and look forward to this event as a rite of passage not only into middle school but also into a new stage of their lives. At this ceremony, they are unified with TST students new and old, becoming a part of a community that is so much bigger than themselves. This year, Trinity is excited to induct Ashton Boone, Jewel Boyett, Jace Elder, Piper Guillory, Chloe Harmon, Demi Hollis, Samuel Johnson, Lucy Lawrence, Harper Marjason, Ruby Martin, Charlie McClish, Sophia Rodriguez, Kara Schultz, Cooper Shoults, Austin West, and incoming seventh grade student Micah Brown. Blessing of the Backpacks
Blessing of the backpacks is an annual Trinity tradition. When
students return in the fall, early childhood through seniors gather in the Pecan Grove to have our pastor, Father Bill, bless their backpacks. This year, students met in the Pecan Grove on August 18 to receive a prayer and a tag for their backpack. This ceremony brings everyone together and encourages them to have good start to their school year. Jack Madison Abernathy
