Renunciar No Es Una Opción

Sé que los últimos tres años han sido extremadamente difíciles para muchos de nosotros y estoy aquí para decirles que no están solos. Muchos han perdido sus trabajos, sus coches, sus casas, muchos han tenido que vender varios objetos materiales y muchos otros han tenido que declararse en bancarrota en todo el mundo.

No importa por lo que esté pasando en este momento, no importa lo difícil que pueda ser o lo desesperadas que parezcan las cosas, crea en si mismo porque tiene lo que se necesita, incluso si eso significa que tiene que nadar a través de una milla de basura para salir limpio del otro lado

Dios nunca nos dará más de lo que podemos manejar, así que por favor crea porque la creencia es como el aire, aunque no pueda verlo, lo necesitamos para sobrevivir.

Quitting is Not an Option

I know that the past three years have been extremely difficult for many of us and I am here to tell you that you are not alone Many have lost their jobs, their cars, their houses, many have had to sell various other materialistic objects and countless others have had to file bankruptcy all around the world

In life we are going to get knocked down and I have been knocked down several times but I am here to tell you that a setback is nothing less than a set up for a come back and it’s not over until you win. So, it doesn’t matter how hard or how many times you get knocked down what matters is how many times you get back up and fight, quitting is not an option because you are Latino’s and Latino’s/Latina’s don’t quit no matter what!

When the economy crashed between 2008 - 2010 I got totally crushed and had to sell everything I owned just to keep my dream of growing my ministry From the Barrio to the Board Room alive

Now fifteen years after we started our mission we are now impacting thousands of kids across America and in over 25 other countries around the world, so what I am saying is to hold on to your dream and “Don’t ever let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do something because as long as we have a (Corazón) heart we always have a chance.” -

As Latino’s we have a lot of pride and pride is good it moves us along and makes

us strong but that’s a little old school. What I am saying to you is that it is okay to ask for help not because you are weak but because you have to remain strong, there is a big difference between a hand out and a hand up.

Taking care of each-other is how the foundation of how this world was built, if we can build off of that foundation then we can all be champions of this place here today that we call home to take care of our families, our neighbors, our communities, our great cities and then beyond.

No matter what you may going through right now, no matter how hard it may get or how hopeless things may seem, believe in yourself because you have what it takes even if that means that you have to swim through a mile of crap to come out clean on the other side

God will never give us more than we can handle so please believe because belief is like air even though you can’t see it, we need it to survive So even though we can’t see air we still breath and even though we can’t see God we still believe, and that my brothers and sisters is called faith, faith to be anybody you want to be!

Water People Theater Studio Kids announces the launch of its bilingual musical Summer Creative Lab

CHICAGO - Water People Theater (WPT)

announces its WPT STUDIO Kids’ All for the Planet: One Planet for All, a bilingual (English/Spanish) musical, summer creative lab for children ages 6 - 11 years old, July 10 - 21.

Classes are held weekly Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Merle Reskin Garage Theater at Steppenwolf Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted Street Each week session is $160 per child with discounted admission of $300 when students register for both weeks

More than 800 children received a new pair of sports shoes thanks to the donation of McDonald’s Owner/Operators and The GSF Foundation

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Local McDonald’s Owner/Operators Tanya Lawrence, Laura Herrera, Edgar Herrera (The Mendez Group) and The GSF Foundation partnered to provide more than 800 pairs of athletic shoes to at-risk children The donations were made through four community organizations: Casa Central, Erie Elementary Charter School, Erie Neighborhood House, and Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council.

This donation not only offers children the possibility of having proper footwear for physical development, it gives them joy and motivation. This is something that should always be maintained in the children of Chicago.

“We are proud and honored once again to work together to donate 800 pairs of shoes to at-risk children in our community,” said Owner/Operator Edgar Herrera “The project of shoe donation came about in response to a situation frequently ignored The truth is that there are children that are not able to participate in sport activities, or even skip school because they do not have the shoes needed to participate We are here today to help them and to make a difference in their lives”

Peeling ecológico:

Decididos a verificar y probar la tesis, según la cual las mujeres podrían tener un cerebro más joven en comparación con los hombres, investigadores de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Washington (estado de Missouri, EE.UU.) centraron su atención en el metabolismo del cerebro, más concretamente, en la forma en la que procesa la glucosa, que cambia según la edad de la persona. Como en las primeras etapas de la vida se necesita una mayor cantidad de energía, el cerebro de los bebés y de los niños quema buena parte de este ‘combustible cerebral’ en un proceso llamado glucólisis aeróbica, que acompaña el crecimiento y el desarrollo cerebral, mientras el resto del azúcar se utiliza para tareas cotidianas

Aunque el azúcar del cerebro en adolescentes y en jóvenes se libera a través del mismo proceso, su fracción ya es mucho menor y sigue disminuyendo progresivamente a medida que la persona se hace mayor

Chicago is one of four regions contributing to the scholarship program, which will be available to help alleviate barriers to entering auto technician careers across the country Funding will be facilitated by TechForce Foundation, a national nonprofit supporting students through their education and into careers as professional technicians.

The auto industry has long faced a shortage of technicians due to fewer students entering and graduating from post-secondary programs, according to TechForce Foundation. Despite the auto industry’s annual demand for 258,000 new technicians, there are only 48,000 graduates from technician programs each year nationwide

“As we move toward an electrified future, these career opportunities are exciting and require skilled technicians who are proficient in STEM related study,” said Elena Ford, Chief Customer Experience Officer “Working together with the Ford Fund and our Greater Chicago Ford dealers to offer this scholarship program means we can welcome a new generation of diverse students to the industry, and hopefully into our Ford family, to help us better serve our customers.”

LO GOLPEARON EN LA WWE: SE METIÓ EN LÍO DE DOS LUCHADORES

Este video de Bad Bunny recibiendo una golpiza en un evento de la World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) se hizo viral en todo el mundo. El intérprete de ‘Ojitos Lindos’ fue estrellado contra una mesa y recibió varios golpes por parte del luchador profesional Damian Priest, quien estaba apoyando a su colega Dominik Mysterio en su enemistad con el cantante.

Para los fanáticos de la lucha libre es bastante claro por qué el Conejo Malo fue atacado ese día, pero en redes sociales muchos internautas se preguntan qué provocó que los luchadores profesionales quisieran golpear al puertorriqueño. Lo que sucedió fue que Bad Bunny defendió a Rey Mysterio de los ataques de su propio hijo, Dominik Mysterio.

El inicio de esta situación se dio el pasado sábado 1 de abril, cuando Bad Bunny estuvo como narrador invitado al Wrestle-

Mania XXXIX de la WWE. En ese evento el boricua conoció al luchador profesional Rey Mysterio, a quien le manifestó su admiración antes de la pelea contra Dominik Mysterio, su hijo.

Dominik Mysterio impactó al público del WrestleMania al tumbar a su padre en el suelo del ring y sacar una gruesa cadena con la que pensaba atacar al Rey Mysterio para terminar de ganar la pelea. Sin embargo, Bad Bunny se levantó rápidamente de la mesa de jurados y le arrebató de la mano el peligroso artefacto. Gracias a la intervención del cantante puertorriqueño en defensa del luchador al que le manifestó minutos antes su admiración, Rey Mysterio ganó esa pelea en contra de su hijo. Esto provocó la ira de Dominik Mysterio, quien aprovechó la segunda ocasión que vio al cantante para vengarse de él Luego de esa pelea Bad Bunny acudió como invitado a un nuevo encuentro entre los Mysterio para una pelea Cuando Dominik vio al cantante boricua entre el público se acercó a él para reclamarle por lo que

había hecho en la pelea anterior, pero Bad Bunny no se atemorizó y le respondió. “No te tenías que meter en esto, bro. ¿Por qué no te quedaste quieto ahí?”, le decía el luchador al cantante, mientras este trataba de levantarse del suelo, pero el dolor no lo dejaba. Cuando finalmente se pudo reponer, Bad Bunny empujó a Priest y le dio un nuevo puñetazo al hijo de Rey Mysterio. Este acto provocó aún más la ira de Damian Priest, quien en respuesta levantó al cantante y volvió a tirarlo al suelo. Lo arrastró cerca de la mesa de jurados y tiró todo lo que había sobre ella, haciendo que los narradores y demás se apartaran de la mesa pues ya sabían lo que esto significaba

“Esto no se hace con un invitado ... Bad Bunny es una súper estrella mundial”, decían sorprendidos los narradores, pero esto no le importó a Damian Priest, quien sujetó del cuello a su connacional y lo estrelló contra la mesa Como resultado, el cantante terminó en el suelo y la mesa completamente rota.

El actor y cantante Julián Figueroa, hijo del difunto icono de la música mexicana Joan Sebastian y la actriz Maribel Guardia, falleció el domingo (9 de abril) en la Ciudad de México. Tenía 28 años

“Siento tener que comunicar la partida de mi amado hijo Julián Figueroa, quien desgraciadamente se nos adelantó en este plano”, informó la madre del artista en su cuenta de Instagram Guardia indicó que Figueroa fue hallado inconsciente en su cuarto mientras ella estaba en el teatro. “Llamaron al 911 y cuando llegó la ambulancia y la policía lo encontraron ya sin vida, sin rastro de violencia alguno. El parte médico indica que falleció por un Infarto agudo al miocardio y fibrilación ventricular”, dijo.

Agregó que las honras fúnebres se realizarán en privado y rogó respeto a la privacidad de la familia en este momento doloroso.

Apenas un día antes, Figueroa había publicado un sentido homenaje a su padre, quien el sábado hubiera cumplido 72 años.

Julián Figueroa es el tercero de los ocho hijos de Joan Sebastian que fallece. Los primeros dos fueron Trigo Figueroa, asesinado en 2006 por fanáticos de su papá que insistían entrar al camerino del cantante, y Juan Sebastián, también asesinado en 2010 afuera de un bar donde aparentemente tuvo una discusión con personal de seguridad del lugar.

Le sobreviven, además de su madre, su esposa Ime Garza; su hijo José Julian, de 6 años; y sus hermanos José Manuel, Juliana, Zarelea, Marcelina y Joana.

Probablemente lo más flojo de la película es el arranque: Amorth es enviado a España para investigar el caso de un niño que parece haber sido poseído por una entidad demoniaca muy poderosa. El pragmático eclesiástico está acostumbrado a lidiar con todo tipo de manifestaciones, que suelen resolverse por la vía de la psicología y no tanto por la de la teología.

Pero, esta vez, hay algo distinto La abadía, en plena reconstrucción, en la que se producen los hechos, parece albergar un

secreto que puede hacer que se tambaleen los cimientos de la Iglesia

Calificar El exorcista del papa como una buena película de terror sería, a buen seguro, una exageración En su parte inicial tenemos más o menos lo que se puede esperar de cualquier otra cinta al uso: sustos, golpes, voces de ultratumba, movimientos inhumanos y su dosis de drama familiar derivado de la posesión de un niño huérfano de padre.

Así, de un plumazo, El exorcista del papa se convierte en un estupendo placer culpable en el que disfrutar de la interpretación de Crowe, que no duda en retratar a su personaje como un tipo con mucho sentido del humor, con cierta querencia por el alcohol y más "travieso" de lo esperado Solo verlo subido en una moto con su sotana, su sombrero y sus gafas de sol, es un acierto de pleno.

A todo eso hay que añadir una muy correcta galería de personajes secundarios con el costarricense Daniel Zovatto (Penny Dreaful: City of Angels) en el rol del padre Esquibel y ayudante de Amorth, Franco Nero (La piel del tambor) como el papa y los sufridos Laurel Marsden (Ms Marvel) y sobre todo el debutante Peter DeSouza-Feighoney como víctimas juveniles de las tropelías demoniacas
