People often ask me how is it that you know so many people? The only way to grow your business or your platform is you must sit down break bread with people, if people don›t truly know who you are then you will fall short of reaching your full potential.

Building a relationship takes time so if you are in it to win it you must get your mind ready for a marathon not a sprint. During the process you always put the other person first, if you help others get where they want to go then you will get where you want to go.

I always put others first, I usually take folks out to grab a bite to eat my treat. Then as we learn more about each other I always look to find ways to help connect them to reach their goals and objectives.

A lot of my time is spent networking with business professionals rather it be at a chamber event or with other groups that I don’t necessarily know anyone there. I am always looking to create new synergies, a win/win for everyone involved.

As an example, we have been working

with PAPA John’s Pizza for five years, we are helping each-other grow and in working together we are also making a huge social impact in multiple communities all over Illinois including Northwest Indiana.

This year we are on a mission to feed 10,000 families together, we have donated Barrio books to hundreds and hundreds of students and we are sharing our contacts to leverage both of us upward.

My style is building something that starts with the letter R and end with the letter S, that word is called “RELATIONSHIPS.” If you have a short vison this will not work for you, so plan on playing the long game, it’s a tougher road but the rewards will be worth the effort.

‘Blue Beetle’ trailer sparks excitement over DC’s first live-action Latino superhero The Warner Bros. movie features “Cobra Kai” star Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, the college grad who takes up the mantle of the Blue Beetle.

DC Comics fans are getting a first look at the upcoming “Blue Beetle” film, starring the first Latino live-action superhero, to be released in the summer.

Warner Bros. unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated movie featuring “Cobra Kai” star Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, a college grad who takes up the mantle of the “Blue Beetle.”

As shown in the trailer, Reyes comes into contact with an ancient alien artifact, known as the Scarab, when he returns home to Palmera City after graduating college. Reyes is chosen by the Scarab as its symbiotic host, attaching itself to his spine and giving him a bio-mechanical blue suit of armor with extraordinary powers.

In the comics, Jaime Reyes is of Mexican American heritage and lives in El Paso, Texas. He is the third iteration of the “Blue Beetle” series hero, first introduced in 2006 as a part of DC Comics “Teen Titans.”

Fans took to social media to express their excitement.

“Miles Morales, Namor & Now Blue Beetle! Loving the Latino/Afro Latino representation in the superhero genre,” one Twitter user wrote. “Oh, this movie is going to be epic,” one TikTok user said in a post regarding the trailer.

In contrast to superheroes who keep their identity a secret from family and friends, Reyes’ family members know he’s the titular superhero from the start. Actually, they are with him when he first transforms into “Blue Beetle.”

Bruna Marquezine plays his love interest, Penny, while Raoul Trujillo is the villain Carapax the Indestructible Man. Susan Sarandon portrays the main villain, Victoria Kord.

(In the comics, she’s the sister of the previous owner of the Scarab, Ted Kord.)

The Reyes version of “Blue Beetle” is notable for being one of the most prominent Latino superheroes in comics; the film is directed by a Latino and will feature a predominantly Latino cast including George Lopez, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo, Damián Alcázar and Belissa Escobedo as Reyes’ family members.

The movie is directed by Angel Manuel Soto, best known for the 2020 drama “Charm City Kings.” Soto told reporters and audience members at a recent Q&A that the film is “unapologetically Latino,” IGN reported.

Soto explained that he wanted to tap into three generations of Reyes’ immigrant family and make them central to the film, while

making them relatable to all audience members.

“Whether or not you’re Latino, it transcends ethnicity, it transcends color or skin because that’s something that we can all relate [to],” Soto said. “We are not a genre and we’re not a buzzword either. It is a superhero movie that happens to have a Latino at the forefront. That’s it.”

The project was originally intended to be released as an HBO Max original film alongside the now-scrapped “Batgirl,” but was shifted to a theatrical release last year.

Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” also had a Latino superhero — Miles Morales — but in contrast to “Blue Beetle,” it was an animated movie.

A sequel, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is scheduled for a June 2 release.

“Blue Beetle” is set to debut in theaters on Aug. 18.

The grand opening of Tony’s Fresh Market in Schaumburg’s Town Square Wednesday morning ended a nearly decadelong vacancy of the 65,000-square-foot space.

That pause was started by the shutdown of the Dominick’s grocery chain on Dec. 31, 2013, and then prolonged by Albertsons -- owner of the rival Jewel-Osco supermarket chain -- using long-term lease options on the property to keep it empty.

On Wednesday, Schaumburg Mayor Tom Dailly joined representatives of the village, the Schaumburg Business Association and neighboring Schaumburg Township District Library to celebrate the long-awaited opening.

When first elected four years ago, Dailly said negotiating an end to the vacancy was among his top priorities.

Tony’s bought the Town Center anchor site at 200 S. Roselle Road in 2015. But because of the Albertsons lease, work to prepare it for a new grocery store was stalled until 2021.

Supply chain issues prevented an expected opening in late 2022.

The village’s redevelopment agreement with Tony’s ensures the employment of at least 200 workers and a minimum $10 million investment in the building. The store is expected to generate more than $300,000 in annual sales taxes and food and beverage taxes for the village.

In addition to recommending approval of a Class 7b Cook County property tax break lasting 12 years, Schaumburg trustees agreed to provide $3 million in village funds for the expected $13 million renovation of the building.

The building’s vacancy potentially could have lasted until 2036 if Albertsons hadn’t stopped exercising its long-term lease options.

Our 14th warmest winter on record ‘warns what will likely be coming,’ climatologist says

Chicago had an unusually mild winter this season -- the 14th warmest on record going back to 1872. It’s a phenomenon that state climatologist Trent Ford said is likely to become more frequent.

“The impacts of climate change are not just 30 or 50 years away; we’re seeing them today,” Ford said. “Seeing warmer winters like what we had this winter sort of warns what will likely be coming in the coming decades.

The average temperature this winter was 38.1 degrees, which is 3.7 degrees above normal.

While less of an immediate concern than warm summers, these types of mild winters raise cautionary flags in several areas, including agriculture and plant ecology.

Ford said perennial plants like fruit trees know when to come out of dormancy based on the temperature. That means these plants rack up a certain amount of “chilling hours,” and when they’ve reached their naturally calculated quota, they wake up and produce flowers.

After a mild winter, farmers and gardeners alike face a balancing act. If their plants break dormancy too early because they’ve adapted to more frequent mild winters, they’re at risk for damage when the spring freeze inevitably occurs. by signing up you agree to our terms of service This is particularly a concern for crops in the southern part of the state, like peaches, apples and cherries.

“We’re in this kind of race right now between trees and shrubs breaking dormancy earlier than they normally would because of milder winters and an earlier last spring freeze,” Ford said. “We won’t see the last spring freeze until at least maybe the midpart of April, even later in April depending on what happens in Chicago, which means that that puts our tender perennials at risk of having pretty significant damage. Ecologically, that’s a problem we don’t want.”

Warmer winters can also throw a wrench in spring timing for pollinators. Ford said the vital critters respond to light more than temperature, meaning that as the climate changes but the period of light stays the same, there is a concern about misalignment between plants flowering and pollinators waking up.

“These matches have evolved over several millennia to work in our favor so that the squash bees come out when the squash is flowering,” Ford said. “But those mismatches can mean that we have pretty significant issues when it comes to ecosystem health, pollinator health and in crop health.”

While climate can be generally predicted by analyzing weather patterns over a long period of time, Ford said, weather -- or the short-term state of the atmosphere -- is much harder to pinpoint. That means that

what type of spring we’ll have is still up in the air.

“This year, I’m kind of on pins and needles to see what we get,” Ford said.

In a region where it’s usually reliably cold, understanding how mild winters will affect our environment in the long term is still a subject of research, said Christy Rollinson, a forest ecologist at the Morton Arboretum.

In the short term, Rollinson said warmer weather impedes winter restoration work.

That’s because when the ground doesn’t freeze solid, the Arboretum’s natural resources staff can’t bring equipment into the woods without having to worry about compacting the soil.

“We weren’t able to get a lot of that work done this year because we couldn’t do it without creating more damage than good,” she said. “That is a huge concern for us, and for a lot of the natural resources managers in the region. We’re having to reevaluate how we get some of this work done, because we know this is going to happen again in the future.”

Mild winters also spell concern for individual trees. If a tree puts out its leaves too early and loses them in a spring freeze, it has to try again. Rollinson said that is no easy task, and it can put a lot of stress on the plant.

“If we had this early leaf out and still get late freezes -- because those aren’t necessarily moving in sync -- then we start to worry about the overall health of the tree,” she said.

“If that becomes a normal thing, it’s unsustainable. That’s something that I’m looking at and trying to use weird years like this to get information that can better help us know how that’s going to impact the tree, both within a single year and then for the long term.”

Rollinson added that the Chicago region is on track for earlier spring bloom times than is typical this year, but predicting when bloom season will occur can change on a week-to-week basis, especially for a region so uniquely located.

“We’re seeing a lot of early leaf out and bloom across the U.S., but how the next couple of weeks go in terms of weather is really going to determine whether we follow that trend -- or if we’re going to be following the trend more of what we’re seeing in Wisconsin, which is actually kind of cooler than normal,” Rollinson said. “We’re right in this transition zone.”

Though we’ve had warmer winters in the past -- for instance the winter of 1953-54 had an average of 32.3 degrees compared to this year’s 31.8 -- Ford said the weather conditions that make a mild winter are happening more frequently, and that is inherently at the hands of climate change.

“It’s much more likely now than it was at the turn of the 20th century that we get a top five or top 10 warmest winter on record,” he said. “It doesn’t mean that we’re necessarily going to break all the records, but we don’t have to break records to see the effects of climate change.”

Ford added that rather than evaluating how much of a weather event was due to climate change, a more salient question is to ask how much more likely it is that a weather event will reoccur.

“How much was this warmer winter a function of climate change? Well, whatever impacts that this warmer winter caused, the real question is how much more likely or how much more often are we going to see

those impacts because of climate change in the future?” he said. “That kind of reframes the conversation to more of a preparedness, as opposed to a looking back on a past event.”

SE CUMPLEN 10 AÑOS SIN PLANES DE REFORMA MIGRATORIA EN EEUU Janine Trainor Fronteras de la Notiica - AP ste mes se cumplen diez años desde que el senador Chuck Schumer declaró que “todos sabemos que nuestro sistema de inmigración está roto y es hora de trabajar en arreglarlo”. El senador John McCain citó a Winston Churchill.

Pero fue Lindsey Graham el que hizo la predicción más osada.

“Creo que 2013 es el año de la reforma migratoria”, dijo el republicano de Carolina del Sur. No lo fue. Y tampoco lo fue ningún año desde que ese “grupo de los ocho” senadores de ambos partidos se reunieron en un auditorio de Washington para hacer declaraciones esperanzadoras. De hecho, el panorama político actual ha cambiado de forma tan drástica que los activistas defensores de los migrantes y los ideólogos de políticas clave temen que cualquier esperanza de reforma esté ahora más lejos que nunca.

Muchos republicanos piden tolerancia cero en la frontera como una forma de contentar a sus votantes de base. Los demócratas han pasado la última década vacilando entre restricciones más firmes en la frontera y esfuerzos por suavizar y humanizar la política de inmigración, lo que deja al descubierto las profundas divisiones sobre cuál es la mejor forma de abordar problemas más amplios.

Su propuesta se aprobó en el Senado en junio de ese año y buscaba abrir una vía a la ciudadanía para millones de personas que estaban en el país sin permiso de residencia, así como ampliar las visas de trabajo, al tiempo que endurecía la seguridad en la frontera y obligaba a los empleadores a verificar la situación legal de sus trabajadores.

Los grandes defensores de la propuesta eran tan diversos como el poderoso sindicato AFL-CIO y la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos. El plan tenía más apoyo que los intentos de hacer grandes reformas migratorias en 2006 y 2007, bajo el mandato de George W. Bush.

She says, I keep that there to always remind me why I am here and how important and urgent the work is that I am doing. roots, and like a tree, from those deep roots she has grown a sturdy trunk, sending off countless branches.

She talks about her mom, Elvira, who made the dangerous trek from Guatemala nearly 40 years ago to find a better life for her family and the Congresswoman’s eyes begin to well up with tears. Ramirez said, look what is possible. I am the first Latina elected to Congress from Illinois who came from those humble but deep roots that I will never forget. But surely, I will not be the last.

Armenta talked about her mission to help increase the numbers of Latinas in law enforcement which are staggeringly low compared to the population in Illinois. As an example, there are only about 1.23% Latinas in the Illinois State Police, yet the Latino population in Illinois is about 18%.

Many studies have proven that outcomes are often better, especially in domestic violence cases, and there are many fewer complaints against women officers for excessive use of force. Armenta’s work is to create awareness and to raise scholarship funds to help Latinas get the resources they need to complete degrees that are often required for entry level police jobs.

Both of “las primeras” were delighted to meet each other; Armenta, the first Latina commissioned to the Illinois State Police in 1979, and Ramirez, the first Latina elected to Congress from Illinois. Their journey as trailblazers will be a part of the soon to be released publication: Las Primeras: The History of Latinas in Illinois Government.

Both women agreed that it is important for more Latinas to take up the challenge of leadership and to be the loud and insistent voices for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Ramirez is a former Illinois State legislator and before that, she served in several leadership roles, including as Executive Director of The Center for Changing Lives.

Now as a member of Congress, she is a fierce advocate for social justice, for working class families, and for the marginalized in our society.

PUNTO DE NO RETORNO EN EL DESHIELO DE LA ANTÁRTIDA

Carolina Pikacho Fronteras de la Notiica - un.org El avance del cambio climático nos lleva a un punto de no retorno, eso es bien sabido. No por ello, sin embargo, resulta menos dramático, y las consecuencias pueden adoptar un sinfín de formas, entre ellas los eventos extremos, la sexta gran extinción o esta nueva noticia que nos habla de una imposible vuelta atrás en el deshielo antártico. ¿Pero, qué significa exactamente ese punto de no retorno en la Antártida? La Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) ha dado la voz de alarma esta semana sobre la fragilidad del dique de seguridad que rodea la región.

Hasta tal punto ha manifestado su preocupación que incluso ha llegado a afirmar que las barreras de hielo que rodean la Antártida se han estrechado y en algunos casos desaparecido.

O lo que es lo mismo, pronto se producirá un aumento del nivel del mar sin marcha atrás, según concluye la investigación realizada.

El uso de satélites ha permitido observar los

cambios. En concreto, este dique de enormes proporciones ha estado desapareciendo en los últimos 20 años, según revelan los datos de radar del satélite Envista, que refleja la pérdida de hielo.

El resultado ha sido el estrechamiento de muchas de ellas y la desaparición de otras adoptando forma de icebergs. Por lo tanto, su función como muros de contención del hielo que se desplaza hacia el mar está seriamente comprometida.

El dique de seguridad, en peligro Una difícil situación que hace peligrar el dique de seguridad. Y será irreversible pues, habida cuenta del avance del calentamiento global, solo puede ir a peor.

A efectos prácticos, que esas barreras estén desapareciendo significa que dejen de actuar como muros de contención, puesto que, según el organismo, al estar conectadas con los glaciares y las corrientes de hielo en tierra firme, desempeñan un importante papel a la hora de evitar que el hielo se desplace hacia el mar.

Aumento del nivel del mar La ESA explica que el flujo de los glaciares ubicados tras esos diques muy probablemente se aceleraría y

ello produciría un aumento del nivel del mar.

A partir de los datos recogidos por la ESA, científicos de la Universidad de Erlangen-Nürnberg, del Instituto Universitario de París y del Laboratorio de Glaciologia et Geofísica del Medio AMbiente (LGGE) de Grenoble han llegado a estas conclusiones.

Su investigación, publicada en la revista Nature Climate Chante, advierte que si lo suficiente de ellos flotando colapso plataformas de hielo, se esperaría que la tasa de pérdida de hielo interior para acelerar, causando impactos generalizados en todo el mundo.

Este descubrimiento no solo sirve para echarnos las manos a la cabeza y concienciarnos de la importancia de aplicar políticas activas que vayan más allá de lo meramente voluntario.

Además, ayudará a pronosticar la evolución de la capa de hielo de la Antártida que el calentamiento global está derritiendo.

También será de utilidad conocer esta merma significativa con el fin de estar más alertas ante una posible fractura, en cuyo caso la pérdida de hielo de esta sería mucho más probable.

La alergia a una mascota es una reacción inmunológica a la caspa animal (escamas de la piel), saliva, orina o heces (el pelo de los animales no suele causar alergias, pero puede retener polen, polvo, moho u otros alergenos). Cuando un niño con alergia a las mascotas respira la caspa animal o entra en contacto con la saliva o los desechos del animal, su sistema inmunológico se pone en guardia, liberando histamina y cerca de 40 sustancias químicas más para combatir la presencia del alergeno. La histamina inflama la nariz y las vías respiratorias, y los químicos pueden causar los siguientes síntomas de alergia frecuentes: nariz acuosa, ojos llorosos, estornudos y síntomas de asma como la tos o silbidos al respirar. De hecho, la mayoría de los ataques de asma que aparecen durante los primeros años de la infancia pueden estar causados por animales. Si el alérgeno entra en contacto con la piel del bebé, puede provocar sarpullidos como la urticaria. Cada especie animal — incluyendo perros, hámsteres, cobayas, y sobre todo los gatos — pueden causar una reacción en un niño que es alérgico. ¿Cómo saber si mi bebé es alérgico a nuestra mascota?

Cuando los síntomas aparecen durante todo el año, en lugar de hacerlo por temporada, como irritación en los ojos, ojos llorosos, nariz acuosa, estornudos, tos, resuello o respiración sibilante y, además, estos síntomas aparecen en el interior de la casa, es signo de alergia a los ácaros. Los síntomas pueden aparecer, aunque tu bebé no esté en contacto directo con el animal, ya que los alérgenos pueden encontrarse en el ambiente. Tendrás que intentar averiguar si es tu mascota o algo más. Desafortunadamente, tu bebé puede tener una reacción a tu mascota cuando está fuera de casa: “Cuando hay una exposición permanente, los síntomas pueden manifestarse durante varios días, una vez aparece la reacción alérgica”, explica el especialista en alergias James L. Sublett, vicepresidente del comité para alergias del hogar o espacios interiores del Colegio Estadounidense de Alergias, Asma e Inmunología (American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, ACAAI). “Además, es muy probable que el alergeno haya llegado a ese nuevo ambiente, pegado a la ropa u otras cosas. Si sacas al perro o al gato de la casa para hacer una prueba, no conseguirás mucho, ya que puede haber quedado suficiente caspa animal en la casa para provocar la alergia aun cuando el animal está ausente. Es posible que necesites que el animal permanezca fuera por un periodo prolongado de tiempo para poder decidir si debieras sacar al animal completamente de la casa. Si llegas a la conclusión de que la mascota está causando la alergia, seguramente tendrás que encontrar un nuevo hogar para ella. Si no estás segura, quizá deberías visitar a un especialista en alergias para que averigüe qué está causando esa reacción alérgica. ¿Cómo puede averiguar un especialista en alergias a qué es alérgico mi bebé?

Para determinar qué causa una alergia, un especialista puede hacer una prueba cutánea, inyectando una pequeña cantidad de alérgeno líquido en la superficie cutánea. Después de 15 a 20 minutos, el especialista buscará señales de que hay una reacción alérgica, como hinchazón o enrojecimiento, como si fueran picaduras de mosquito. Las pruebas cutáneas son muy sensibles y pueden ser interpretadas por una especialista en alergias, debidamente certificado, quien puede ayudarte a decidir si necesitas regalar la mascota y limpiar tu casa a fondo. Aun así, podrías tardar meses en disminuir los niveles de presencia del alérgeno para poder notar una diferencia en las alergias de tu hijo.

¿Puedo impedir que mi bebé desarrolle una alergia a nuestra mascota?

A lo mejor no, especialmente si tú o tu pareja sufren de alergias. Tu bebé podría estar genéticamente predispuesto a desarrollar alergias también, aunque a lo mejor no serían del mismo tipo que las tuyas. Si quieres tener una mascota, pero crees que tu bebé puede desarrollar una alergia, espera hasta que tenga al menos seis años de edad. Los síntomas de alergia suelen ser menos serios en los niños algo mayores. Una alergia a las mascotas puede hacer que tu hijo produzca silbidos al respirar cuando tenga 4 o 5 años, por ejemplo, pero a lo mejor a los 8 años sólo le provoca un poco de tos. Ten en cuenta que, si tienes una mascota, tu hijo podría no presentar síntomas de alergias enseguida; podría estar meses expuesto a la alergia antes de presentar síntomas de alergia a una nueva mascota. ¿Algunas mascotas pueden causar más alergias que otras?

Según algunos especialistas en alergias y veterinarios, sí; otros, en cambio, dicen que no. No parece que haya muchas pruebas que indiquen que algunas razas de perro causen más alergias que otras. Carolina Pikakacho Fronteras de la Noticia -bvsalud.org El trastorno de ansiedad social (TAS), también conocido como fobia social, es un trastorno de ansiedad caracterizado por un miedo persistente a una o más situaciones sociales por temor a que resulten embarazosas. Este temor puede ser desencadenado por el escrutinio (percibido o real) de otras personas. Es el trastorno de ansiedad más común y uno de los más comunes entre los trastornos psiquiátricos En la mayoría de los casos, los síntomas físicos del trastorno son: ruborización, sudoración excesiva, temblor, palpitaciones y náusea. Por otro lado, pueden presentarse respuestas conductuales a las situaciones temidas, como es el caso del habla acelerada, y otras estrategias de afrontamiento. También pueden ocurrir ataques de pánico.

Algunas personas utilizan el alcohol y otras drogas para reducir sus temores e inhibiciones en eventos sociales. Por lo anterior, las personas con este trastorno pueden sufrir alcoholismo y otros tipos de abuso de sustancias. Las escalas como el Inventario de Fobia Social, el SPAI-B y la Escala de Ansiedad Social de Liebowitz pueden emplearse para evaluar la severidad de la ansiedad. Como cualquier fobia, se centra en un miedo intenso, persistente y crónico (grave para considerarse fobia) a ser juzgado, avergonzado, humillado o hacer el ridículo, que se pone de manifiesto en varios tipos de situaciones, entre las que destacan: Hablar en público, como intervenir en clase o

realizar una exposición (glosofobia).

Reuniones sociales en las que tendrá que relacionarse (fiestas, eventos, etc.).

Encuentros inesperados con conocidos, familiares, amigos, etc.

Estos temores pueden ser desencadenados por medio del escrutinio de las acciones de los demás. El sentimiento de miedo es tan intenso, que en este tipo de situaciones la persona se pone nerviosa tan sólo con pensar en ello (ansiedad anticipatoria), e intenta esforzarse para controlar o suprimir la ansiedad. Estas situaciones y otra serie de sucesos hacen que el que la padezca se sienta inseguro, acechado, incómodo, con sensaciones intensas y desagradables acerca de lo que pueden estar hablando, pensando o juzgando de él (cierta paranoia), y síntomas evidentes de ansiedad. Si bien el miedo a la interacción social puede ser reconocido por la persona como excesivo o irracional, su superación puede ser bastante difícil. Los síntomas físicos que acompañan a menudo el trastorno de ansiedad social incluyen rubor, sudoración profusa (hiperhidrosis), temblores, palpitaciones, náuseas, tartamudez, a menudo acompañada de un discurso acelerado. Pueden ocurrir ataques de pánico en virtud del intenso miedo y malestar. Un diagnóstico precoz puede ayudar a minimizar los síntomas y el desarrollo de problemas adicionales, como la depresión.

Debido a la relevancia de este trastorno, es crucial la detección temprana. Actualmente están disponibles instrumentos de evaluación breves y sencillos que se pueden utilizar como medida de tamizado o cribado en adolescentes y adultos, como, por ejemplo, el Inventario de Fobia Social (Social Phobia Inventory) Se suele desarrollar en la juventud, después de la adolescencia. Su aparición es mucho más común de lo que se piensa popularmente, y no hay que considerar esta fobia como extraña. Aceptarlo abiertamente en público es el mejor modo de comenzar a superarlo, para intentar sentirse mejor comprendido y de ese modo, aminorar la angustia. Los síntomas pueden presentarse al inicio de la adolescencia y pueden continuar durante toda la vida, lo que tiene graves consecuencias negativas en la vida social, laboral y afectiva. A menudo las personas cercanas suelen confundir erróneamente la fobia social con la timidez, pero una persona que padezca fobia social no tiene por qué ser necesariamente tímida.

Actualmente está creciendo exponencialmente el número de trabajos sobre inteligencia emocional en distintos ámbitos de la psicología clínica, y entre ellos, la relación entre inteligencia emocional y la fobia social

Carolina Pikacho, Fronteras de la Noticia - EFE Becky G es la favorita para protagonizar la serie dramática «Queen of Flow», que los estudios Westbrook de Will Smith está preparando para la televisión.

Según el sitio Deadline, la cantante de 26 años y reciente ganadora de los «iHeartRadio Music Awards» reveló que está en conversaciones para protagonizar la serie para la plataforma Peacock de NBC. «Queen of Flow» es una adaptación de la telenovela colombiana «La Reina del Flow», ganadora del premio Emmy 2019 en la categoría.

De acuerdo con la publicación, la serie es “un cuento de venganza/drama musical sobre una joven cantautora llamada Yeimi (Becky G), que salta a la fama en el negocio de la música y encuentra un amor infeliz con la superestrella heredera de una familia poderosa. Pero en su ascenso a la cima, se descubre oscuros secretos sobre Yeimi y la familia que creó, lo que los pone en curso de colisión hacia un ajuste de cuentas que podría destruirlos a todos”.

El arte pasa de ser la definición para convertirse en el motivo. Sí, la próxima gran comedia biográfica del 2023 tendrá a un gran artista como el eje temático en la historia. No obstante, la producción no será del todo realista, pues no se obtuvieron las licencias esperadas y a pesar de que todo el look y contexto del protagonista te haga pensar de quién se trata, será un personaje ficticio. El nombre de este será Carl Nargle, el cual será interpretado por Owen Wilson en Paint.

Sin embargo, aunque se intente evitar, el parecido con Bob Ross es imposible de ignorar. El tono de la fotografía e inclusive todos los elementos de escenografía apuntan a que se tratará de una especie de parodia del famoso pintor.

El actor viene de darle vida a Mobius en la serie de Loki. No en tanto, además de su inclusión en el Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel solo se le había visto recientemente en la película Cásate conmigo, con Jennifer López.

Ahora el gran cómico volverá a las pantallas grandes con una oportunidad de renacer en su carrera. El filme pinta como una propuesta diferente, algo más de autor y ese tipo de come-
