t’s that time of year once again to reflect and give “thanks” for the many positive events, opportunities and people in our lives. We thank everyone who attended our 8th annual Reflecting Excellence event and our many sponsors who support and believe in all the wonderful gifts that many within our Latino community and those serving these communities, offer us every day. We are thankful for the opportunities throughout the year to engage with you, our readership, through our weekly Reflejos and as we work side by side to tell the many positive stories of your contributions and successes… so meaningful in making our communities culturally exciting, inclusive and positive environments for our youth. Lastly, we are very thankful for all the people in our lives, those whom we are surrounded by daily, as well as the many leaders and family members who have left us. We give thanks for the contributions of many and for the ability within our lifetime to continue making a positive difference, as those who came before us.
