Terrain Aeration relieves waterlogging
Terrain Aeration’s Terralift concept has been in service for over 30 years.
Terrain Aeration have treated all kinds of turf surface for waterlogging, compaction and panning, from sports fields, golf courses and bowling greens, to trees in London parks, green spaces and the gardens of new house builds.
The machine hammers a hollow probe one metre into the soil and a blast of compressed air is released to fracture and fissure the soil.
On the tail end of the air blast, dried, milled seaweed is incorporated and this expands and contracts with the moisture content in the soil, keeping the fractures open.
The result is relief from waterlogging and healthier turf, with minimum disruption during the treatment.

DSV’s PRO Pitch delivers for Warrington Wolves Enhancing fairway resilience with H2Pro TriSmart
Niall Hazlehurst, Head of Grounds at Warrington Wolves Rugby Club, has seen a remarkable improvement in the playing surface at The Halliwell Jones Stadium since introducing DSV’s EuroGrass PRO Pitch seed mixture.
When considering the best approach for the pitch renovation, Niall turned to DSV and was introduced to their EuroGrass seed range, which was supplied by Indigrow.
“I made contact with DSV, had a really good chat, and we identified what we were looking for,” he says. “We decided to use
the PRO Pitch mixture, and it has been brilliant. We applied it in August last year, and the colour, wear, and disease tolerance have been outstanding. Probably the best I’ve used, to be honest.”
Niall states that he was already aware of PRO Pitch being successfully used at other stadiums and private schools, which gave him additional confidence in the product. He also credits DSV for their expertise and support throughout the process.
Since the team returned to training in November, the pitch has endured intense usage. As the flagship mix in the EuroGrass portfolio, PRO Pitch is designed for winter
Burnham & Berrow Golf Club has successfully enhanced fairway resilience and improved turf quality following the integration of ICL’s H2Pro TriSmart into its water management programme.
The initiative was driven by the club’s preparations to host Final Open Qualifying for The 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2024.
Like many links courses, Burnham & Berrow faced significant challenges during the severe drought of 2022.
Despite an extensive irrigation system, maintaining uniform turf coverage proved difficult, highlighting the need for a longterm solution.
Course Manager Rich Whyman, working alongside the R&A’s agronomy team, adopted a strategic approach to water management, incorporating H2Pro TriSmart as a key component.
Applied at 10L per hectare throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons, TriSmart was used in conjunction with reseeding, targeted nutrition, and irrigation refinements.
The surfactant’s proven ability to enhance soil moisture retention and improve drought tolerance played a critical role in restoring and strengthening fairway surfaces.
Since implementing TriSmart, the club has reported measurable improvements, including stronger, more uniform turf coverage, better moisture retention during dry periods, and greater consistency across playing surfaces.
Volumetric Moisture Content (VMC) testing has further confirmed more stable moisture levels across the course.

Pitches thriving with Campey equipment
Sandal Rugby Football Club has gone on a journey from no equipment to a fleet that has raised the quality of their pitches thanks to the work of Groundsman Graham Walker and his relationship with Campey Turf Care Systems.
Armed with a limited budget by the club, Graham set out to invest in the best options available, which led him to RFU North pitch advisor, Ian Sommerville.
“Ian put me in touch with Campey, and that’s when I first
started speaking with Simon Holland,” he said.
“Simon’s advice was integral to our decisions, specially helping us make the right critical decisions. Recently, I spoke to him at SALTEX about getting a new seeder, and he was happy to give us as much of his time as we needed. I can phone him whenever I need to know something, and he’s always able to help.
“The RFU grant stipulated we could get a SISIS Quadraplay, a tractor, slitter and mower, and
with Simon’s guidance, we got the best options for us within that remit.”
Adding a Campey Slitter, New Holland Boomer 25, Trimax Striker, and Quadraplay to their fleet has raised pitch quality. In their latest Pitch Power report, four out of the five pitches had moved into the advanced category, which quantifiably shows the progress Graham has made with the new machinery.

Bi-directional mowing is the smart move
Undertaking time-consuming headland turns at the end of each mowing pass can be unproductive, awkward, and, on steep slopes, potentially dangerous.
Repetitive turning can also cause unnecessary surface disturbance and excessive track wear.
To overcome this and boost productivity, McConnel has introduced the ROBOCUT S300 — a remote-control slope mower with bi-directional mowing capabilities. By locating the 1.1m rotary mulching deck directly beneath the 28hp Vanguard engine, the S300 can mow efficiently in either direction.
Eliminating the need for headland turns, operators simply mow to the end of the row, then track back in the opposite direction to begin the return pass.
To ensure intuitive handling, the S300 automatically reverses directional input from the remote-control unit — meaning right-joystick input always turns
right, and left always turns left, regardless of the machine’s direction of travel.
Alongside reduced turning, the S300’s design delivers further benefits, including a lower centre
of gravity and enhanced stability on slopes up to 55 degrees.
With working speeds of up to 7km/h and the option to add GPS autosteer guidance, the bi-directional ROBOCUT
S300 is proving popular with professional grass maintenance teams seeking a simple-to-use, easy-to-transport, high-output slope mowing solution.

Exemplifying the best at Newby Hall
Newby Hall and Gardens near Ripon, Yorkshire, renowned for its Adam Style architecture and twice-winner of the “Historic Houses Garden of the Year,” uses a 4m Major Swift Roller Mower to maintain the immaculate standards expected by its thousands of visitors.
“We often get over 2,000 visitors a day,” said Grounds Manager Nigel Allison. “With 300 acres of parkland and 25 acres of formal gardens, every part of the estate must look perfect.” Their ageing cylinder mower was replaced with a Major MJ71-400 Trailed Swift Roller Mower, cutting mowing time in half while delivering a superior finish.
Nigel and his team trialled several models before selecting the Major Swift. “Its build quality was far beyond anything else. It’s easy to maintain, with no belts to wear out and a fast height adjustment between 10 and 130mm.” The mower’s
three cutting decks and front/rear rollers ensure a flawless cut, even over undulating terrain.
Since its introduction, Newby has seen improved grass quality and a beautifully striped finish, matching or surpassing that of their previous equipment.
“We’ve reduced maintenance and downtime significantly,” says Nigel. “Labour efficiency is up and the result is visibly better.”
Constructed from highperformance Strenx™ 700 MC steel and hot-dip galvanized for durability, the Major Swift also offers safe transport with folding wings and full LED lighting.
“We chose it for quality and finish, and it’s exceeded expectations,” adds Nigel. “It’s cost-effective, user-friendly and adds to the lasting impression we give our visitors.”

Mowing versatility with Ventrac
Local councils, golf courses, caravan parks and colleges are just some of the organisations that have appreciated the versatility of Ventrac and how it has enhanced their turf maintenance operations.
From Stover Park Golf Club to Brightlingsea Town Council plus grass cutting contractors the main attraction of a Ventrac package is versatility.
Stover Park’s Jason Brooks appreciates the articulating contour mower deck option which follows the undulations on his course so well and can work on slopes of up to thirty degrees.
Slopes that used to be strimmed are now managed by one operator and the Ventrac. The finished cut offers better definition than strimmed areas and looks so much better.
Brightlingsea Town Council’s Grounds Manager, Terry Hamilton, commented when they purchased their Ventrac: “We’ve certainly purchased a very versatile piece of kit.
“We’re replacing an aging triple reel mower with this Ventrac and the MU (finishing mower) deck, which provides the same level of finish, so we’re not sacrificing quality or overall presentation.
“The Ventrac, in its eightwheel configuration, has an exceptionally low ground pressure of just 6 psi, enabling us to mow, whatever the conditions.”
Service providers, idverde use their Ventrac’s for numerous contracts including verge side mowing on steep slopes with HQ682 Toughcut mowers. The light footprint and low centre of gravity make the Ventrac ideal for this kind of application but its not so specialist that it can’t be used for more regular mowing jobs.
With a total of six different models of mower available, all capable of being used on slopes of up to thirty degrees, Ventrac have a mowing solution to manage all kinds of turf.

Jacobsen contour rotary mower heads to Balfron
Balfron Golfing Society in Stirlingshire, radiates a welcoming sense of community while enjoying enviable views of Loch Lomond.
The club has a fascinating modern-day history and maintains both a healthy membership and regular visitor numbers.
Originally a nine-hole course which sat above the village, the war effort commandeered the land in 1939 for agricultural use.
In 1991 a forward-thinking group of locals launched a venture to buy the land back and recreate a new nine-hole course on the same spot.
They achieved their initial goal of a new facility in 1994 and with further endeavour and charitable support, by 2001, the team created a very respectable 18-hole course.
Currently plans are afoot for a new clubhouse with early building work underway.
Head greenkeeper Kevin Wilkie has been with the club since 2006. Aided by a team of three, together they care for the course, which is part heathland, part parkland.
At the start of the season, they took delivery of a Jacobsen AR722T seven-deck rotary mower from local dealer, Fairways GM at Renfrew, delivered by Area Sales Manager, Mike Lindsay.
“We’re saving lots of time which is the reason we purchased,” said Kevin Wilkie.
“Where we might have previously spent three hours on the semi rough, we’re down to two and it also presents the grass well, giving scope to stripe.
“It means we’ve freed up time to enhance the course elsewhere, spending a little extra effort on the greens or on special projects if required.”

STIHL launches new mowers for professional use
STIHL is launching three new powerful and rugged professional battery-powered lawnmowers, perfectly suited to demanding lawn care in noise-sensitive areas.
An extension to the AP System, the new lawn mowers are equivalent in performance to the well-respected 7 series petrol models.
With a 48cm cutting width, the RMA 750 V is the smallest of the three new models.
The RMA 756 V has a larger 54cm cutting width for faster working, while the RMA 7 RV is a dedicated mulching mower with no collection bag and a cutting width of 51cm.
The 7 series mowers are the first to feature in STIHL’s exciting new Double AP
Platform. Drawing power from two AP batteries, the mower utilises a 72 V motor to significantly increase the power output of the machine.
This results in a mower capable of cutting large areas of overgrown grass, with no compromise in collection quality.
The mono-comfort handlebar is standard across all new models and is designed to improve access to the collection bag.
The construction of the handlebar is extremely sturdy thanks to the aluminium console and steel upper section, ensuring reliable use in tough working conditions. It’s also height adjustable and neatly folds over for compact transport and storage too.
All models benefit from variable speed transmission, adjustable in fi ve steps from 0 – 6 km/h.
The gearbox is protected by a sturdy cover, preventing damage and premature wear, and the soft start feature prevents the lawn mower from jolting forward, for a more comfortable experience.
For maximum durability, the models feature a powder coated aluminium deck with an abrasion resistant inner casing made from polymer, which is easy and inexpensive to replace.
Three mowing modes are available to the operator, depending on the terrain being cut. Eco-mode automatically reduces the RPM when under
light load to maximise battery working time. Standard mode can be used for day-to-day work, and Auto-Boost can be used to overcome particularly challenges patches of dense grass and vegetation.
The power setting and drive speed can easily be adjusted thanks to the intuitive controls and electronic display.
Other parameters such as the battery charge level and connectivity status can also be checked at a glance.
With STIHL Connected built into the lawnmower as standard, it’s never been easier to monitor the working time and maintenance plan of your STIHL tool.

Baroness trio prove on pitch and on point
A trio of ride-on machines from Baroness have emerged victorious in the comprehensive search for new mowers at Ardingly College in West Sussex.
The maintenance of the 250-acre site is a year-round operation for Deputy Head of Grounds Emile Ellis and the team of eight, with the two new LM551B’s and GM2810A from Baroness swiftly becoming MVPs for areas both on and off the pitch.
When not playing a crucial role in curriculum sport, the facilities at Ardingly College are in demand from a number of school camps and local sports clubs.
After an extensive demo period, two LM551B fairway mowers and a GM2810A rotary mower were installed by dealers Lister Wilder in November 2024 – the first Baroness machines for the college.
“You can tell the machines are incredibly well thought through,” said Emile. “They do everything they need to without
any unnecessary electrics or fuss which makes them a pleasure to set up and use.
“We use the LM551B’s for everything ‘on pitch’ which includes our cricket outfields, winter sports pitches and other areas with a lower height of cut.
“We’ve noticed a significant difference in the quality of cut and finish, and the units definitely stay on cut for much longer. I used to go round with a spanner in my pocket to adjust the units between pitches but now it’s one check first thing and you’re set for the rest of the day.
“The GM2810A is used pretty much everywhere else, on all the areas that don’t support play but where we still want to retain presentation. It does a fantastic job. It tackles grass of all lengths and is also a lot bigger than its predecessor which means not only are we achieving better results, we’re achieving it quicker than before.”

EGO launches largest mower yet
EGO Power+, a leading specialist of battery-powered outdoor power equipment, has developed its largest mower yet.
As the first mower in its portfolio to feature a super composite deck, the LM2236E-SP 55cm mower kit is an exciting new entry to the market.
Strong yet lightweight, this flagship residential mower has a large 55cm cutting capacity and is the first of EGO’s mowers to boast a super composite cutting deck which is notably lighter in weight compared to aluminium or steel decks and is more robust, offering improved longevity.
Ideal for gardening enthusiasts of all strengths, while this may be a beast of a mower, it has been designed with simplicity in mind.
Featuring a push button start, users can simply push the handle and the mower will self-propel forward, while the addition of a variable cutting speed helps
make for an even more effortless mowing experience.
For further ease, grass-cutting height can be adjusted easily via the 8-position spring loaded adjustment (between 25 to 100mm), and the SELECT CUT interchangeable multi-blade cutting system allows users to alternate incrementally between mulching or grass collection with a single lever.
Users can also choose a side discharge accessory to quickly disperse of grass cuttings. Additionally, the kit also comes complete with a 10.0Ah battery which can cut up to 2000sqm on a single charge.
For added convenience, the aluminium telescopic handle boasts a quick-release lever enabling easy access to the collection bag, while the powerful LED lights also make the mower suitable for applications in low-light environments.
Joerg Bauerle, Product Manager for EGO, said: “We are delighted to introduce the 55cm mower to our portfolio. Not only is it more durable, but it is also stronger and lighter in weight compared to other mowers on the market due to the introduction of a super composite deck.
“It is ideal for residential users as the mower will self-propel forwards with minimal effort required, and it is easily controlled via the cockpit, which provides live status updates of the mower.

It’s not just the greenkeepers that are impressed with the fleet of six Echo TM-2050 robotic mowers installed by GroundTech at Hartsbourne Country Club, the members are too! Less than a month after their delivery, players and staff alike have recognised the transformation in presentation of some of the club’s perimeter areas which previously proved near-impossible to maintain in challenging winter conditions.
Like many heavy clay soil courses, this 27-hole club in South Hertfordshire can often lay wet during prolonged periods of rainfall, creating problems in getting machinery out to regularly cut the rough and fairways.
General Manager Terry MulfordLawlor explains that the knock-on impact extends well beyond the winter, “Both presentation and playability suffers and then, come the spring, the grass is so long and dense that it takes a lot of hard work to get them back to where we want them to be.”
“The proposition that the Echo robotic mowers could be cutting consistently whatever the weather was of great interest.”
Terry was assisted in his search by Marcus Glover and Sam Baker from GroundTech, along with Sam Daybell from Echo who paired the club with six TM-2050 robots with solar array

Progressive tri-deck presents time and fuel savings
Ticking the boxes for build quality and ease of use is a Progressive TDR-22/6 tri-deck for the team at Newmarket Racecourse. Not only that, the new delivery by Vanmac in June 2024 complements a pair of Progressive TDR-15’s and - at 50% wider - has contributed to significant savings in both labour and fuel-usage according to Estates Manager Alan Hatherley.
and portable battery chargers. The largest of the Echo range the TM-2050 offers the pinnacle of productivity, capable of mowing areas of up to 75,000m2 while
simultaneously providing precise mulching of material for an immaculate finish. GroundTech
Alan has been working on the site for 20 years, and for the last 12 of those, has been using solutions from Progressive for mowing the 28-hectares of racing surface.
“We’ve always been really impressed with the build quality and the aftersales service we get with Progressive, but with managing challenges with the weather and ever-tightening mowing windows, the time was right to add something wider” explains Alan, who heads-up a team of nine grounds staff. “We went straight to Vanmac and spoke with Jeremy Vincent about the TDR-22/6 tri-deck.”
The TDR-22/6 tri-deck roller finishing mower from Progressive combines productivity with performance – its 22 foot (6.7m) combined width, and front and rear rollers, and unique 6 blade
rotors per deck deliver a precise and balanced cut, outstanding presentation and unbeatable contour following ability.
“This, like our previous mowers, is well-built, not over-engineered and easy to maintain which, in practical terms, gives us a mower that’s user-friendly to operate and generally means fewer things to go wrong!” Alan continues, “As soon as the TDR-22/6 tri-deck arrived at the end of June we were out with it straight away, to make the most of the time saving element. Where it used to take us nine hours to mow all areas of the two tracks, we can now complete the job in six. That doesn’t just reduce labour and give us a better chance to mow ahead of forecasted rainfall, it presents a significant reduction in fuel usage which is a big step towards reducing our environmental footprint.”
“We don’t cut when it’s wet but will mow as and when required throughout the year so, a mild winter for example, will see us continuing to mow in December. With the TDR-22/6 tri-deck, we know we can confidently get the job done quickly and effectively, no matter the ground conditions.”

Work smarter not harder with Toro’s robotic mowers
Robotic mowing has arrived and with it comes the new generation of working smarter, not harder, thanks to Toro.
With the brand’s new range of robotic mowing solutions for the fairways and the roughs available through distributor Reesink Turfcare, customers can now focus on getting the job done consistently and efficiently and instead prioritise time and skill on the greens, tees, and bunkers.
“The arrival of autonomous technology is what we’ve all been waiting for,” said Jon Cole Divisional Business Manager, Reesink Turfcare.
“And Toro’s vision of this delivers professional-quality results with minimal input required, solving
the problem of reduced resources, labour shortages, and rising operational costs.”
All the products launching simultaneously – the Toro GeoLink Solutions Autonomous Fairway Mower, Turf Pro range of robot mowers and Range Pro ball picker – work on Real Time Kinematic (RTK) geopositioning technology coming from a GPS based satellite system for ultra-precise navigation.
This functionality allows for areas to be mapped, setting invisible boundaries in which the machines can operate autonomously. When they reach the edge of the predefined work zone based on satellite positioning, they intelligently keep within it.
Operation is straight-forward: wireless monitoring and control of the units is through a computer or mobile phone where it is possible to customise working perimeters, no-go zones, mowing patterns, cutting height and transport paths.
No boundary wires are required, the mowers can mow a consistent pattern with minimal overlap and are accurate to two centimetres. The system can identify missed areas and will reroute the mower to cover them later.
The Toro GeoLink Solutions Autonomous Fairway Mower is a hybrid mower. It has a Kawasaki engine but steering, traction, lift and lowering of the cylinder units are electric. The mower still has a seat and a steering wheel; this
is because it has both manual and autonomous modes. In manual it’ll operate just like a normal triplex so if the operator wants to move it to a new location that isn’t mapped yet or support a different area on the course, they can.
There are three fully robotic models in the Turf Pro range. There’s the choice of three or five cutting heads providing a cutting width of 63.3cm (25ins) in the Turf Pro 300 and 103.3cm (40.7ins) for the Turf Pro 500. They can mow up to 18.5 acres (75,000m2) and there’s a model for use on slopes of up to 24 degrees.
They are all-electric, self-charging and automatically return to the charging station.

EGO shows its strength with bumper product launch
EGO has set out its intentions for 2025 with a bumper product launch showcasing products from its mowing and maintenance ranges plus an expansion of its Lifestyle range.
This comes as the company publishes the results of its ‘Challenge 2025’ project exploring the adoption of battery outdoor power equipment among local authorities operating ‘clean air zones’.
Some, such as Sheffield are leading the way with just 15% petrol powered equipment, while Bristol and cashstrapped Birmingham are still 90% reliant on petrol.
The company has been pressing ahead with developments
to enhance its offering for professional users including Pro X multi-chargers and a new high capacity battery which allows smaller batteries to be charged from it. Pro X range equipment and batteries also come with a three-year warranty.
EGO’s flagship product for 2025 is the LM2230E-SP professional mower.
Its largest mower to date, this 55cm mower with a super composite deck, can cut up to 2000 sqm on a single charge with a 10Ah battery and is aimed at the top end of the domestic market and garden maintenance contractors.
The deck is the first of a new generation, explains product
manager Andrew Frohock: “It’s strong but light and uses Select Cut blades to offer an adjustable mulching function in conjunction with partial closure of the collection chute.”
This year also sees EGO move into the robot mower market with the the RM4000E and the RM2000E, which can cut up to 4000sqm and 2000sqm respectively.
With RTK navigation in the pipeline for future ranges, these models use a boundary wire but are 4G enabled for remote monitoring and control via the EGO Connect app.
“GPS intelligence offers systematic mowing, which means the robots can mow in
parallel lines to offer striping on the first pass.
“Coverage of complex lawns is also improved and the mower then works at 30deg to the original line on the second cut, enhancing lawn health and quality,” comments Andrew.
For arborists, the range now includes the CS1200E professional top-handled chainsaw, which comes with a 30cm bar and 0.5cm chain, operating at 20m/sec.
Designed for use with the smallest 1P battery only, clever technology ensures that it can’t operate with an incorrect, heavier battery.
Back on the ground, EGO’s 2025 leaf blowers have been developed with even more power and performance.
In the Pro X series, there’s the choice of the new LBPX1100, said to be one of the most powerful backpack blowers on the market with an output of 1800 cum/hr or the two-hand
operated LBX1000 which has a more powerful 5ah battery for longer run time.
An in-built screen offers status monitoring including remaining battery charge.
Compatible with EGO’s range of multi-tools is the new STA1700 line trimmer attachment which offers automatic line feeding and fast line replacement as well as EGO’s first dethatcher attachment (DA1400) – a scarifier is set to follow.
This year, EGO is expanding its Lifestyle range, extending the use of its EGO ARC 56V lithium batteries.
New additions to the range include the SK1800E Outdoor Speaker, FN1000E MiniMisting Fan, WDV0900E Wet/ Dry Vacuum, the BSP3500E 15L Backpack Sprayer and the ETA0800E Earth and Ice Auger.

Sustainability in landscape maintenance often requires practical adjustments and embracing new technologies that bene t the maintenance team, the environment, and the overall landscape. Kress RTKn robot mowers deliver superior performance saving time for the on-going maintenance of pitches, golf courses and other large turf areas.
lawns.
QUIET OPERATION
One of the standout features of Kress RTKn mowers is their near-silent operation. This allows groundskeepers to schedule mowing at any time of day or night without disturbing nearby residents, hotel guests, or players. Additionally, the robotic mowers reduce safety risks, such as the potential for staff injuries from ying golf balls.
ENHANCED TURF HEALTH
Kress RTKn robotic mowers go beyond just cutting grass; they actively contribute to the health of the turf. With the ability to mow early mornings or even at night, and even when dew is present. The consistent and gentle cutting action also promotes healthier grass growth, leading to more vibrant and resilient turf and reduced mole activity. Mowers that mulch like robotic mowers also reduce fertiliser costs, because the added nutrition means less fertiliser is needed.

Safety and effciency with the Raymo electric mower
Steep banks, uneven terrain, and hazardous conditions have long made bank mowing a high-risk, time-consuming task.
But thanks to the Raymo from ISEKI UK and Ireland, Xtreme Mowing Ltd is tackling these challenges with greater efficiency and safety than ever before.
Director of Xtreme Mowing, John Barr, uses the remotecontrolled electric mower
at numerous sites, including hangar roofs and, in this instance, an industrial estate on the outskirts of Bristol.
“We used to use a dual-wheeled walk-behind pedestrian mower on these banks,” John explains.
“You can go up to about 45 degrees with that, but it’s basically a 300-kilo mower.
“And when you’ve got greasy banks and things like that, and the machine slides down, you need to try to control
that. Whereas using a remote control removes the operator from harm’s way and speeds up the process because you don’t need to follow the machine everywhere. So, you can put the Raymo into areas that would be more risky for an operator.”
The environmental benefits of the Raymo were a major draw for John, who has seen a trend of customers requesting ecofriendly solutions for mowing. With four to five hours of battery life per pack and the
ability to swap a pack in less than five minutes, the operator benefits and cost-savings of going electric are clear.
However, John is focused on more than just the electric aspect of the machine. Using the FlexiSpike wheels in combination with the SFINX attachment, the Raymo can safely work at 55-degree angles while effortlessly cutting over edges.

“It’s built for purpose, and well-built at that. The whole team were incredibly impressed with the comfortable operation and the simplicity of set-up and changing settings like the clip rate with speed
and pinpoint accuracy via the InfiniApp.”
Another big selling point for Chris was the support available from local dealers Fairways GM.
“In our pursuit of perfection, it’s vital we can rely on the advice and back-up service from those around us and that’s exactly what we get from the team at Fairways.
“We’ve successfully worked with them for the last 14 years for our machinery requirements and know we’re in safe hands.”
He adds, “Alan Jack from INFINICUT has also been brilliant, answering our questions at all times of the day and providing fantastic training on the features of the machines to make sure the whole team were completely comfortable.”
The three INFINICUT FX26 mowers were installed in March 2025 and are already bringing noticeable improvements to cut quality on the tees thanks to their renowned SMARTCut reel technology.
Fully programmable via the InfiniApp, further efficiency and versatility is delivered by the fact the INFINICUTs can be equipped with a range of maintenance cassettes from the TMSystem – which Chris plans to take full advantage of.
