Australian Idol contestant Royston Sagigi-Baira is a little bit excited, and with good reason.

On Monday night his group performance with Five Soul – comprising powerhouse vocalists Phoebe, Sharin, Maya,

Montana and Royston – ‘blew the judges away’ when they sang Jess Glynne’s I’ll Be There

“When they were finished, all four judges were grinning from ear to ear,” 7Life said.

Judge Kyle Sandilands told the group he felt like he’d died and woken up in heaven.

“Every single piece of it, and I was thinking, ‘who’s standing out here?’,” he said. “But my focus kept getting pulled every time the vocalist changed, so you all stood out, which I think’s pretty incredible.”

They also won over Harry Connick Jr.

“There was so much I loved about that performance,” he said.
