NPA mud rally kicks up some dust

A good crowd turned out to watch this year’s Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council’s annual Mud Rally & Pig Hunt at the Yusia Ginau Oval – Mud Rally Circuit last weekend.

This is an exciting event was open to local and visiting tourists to test their 4WD skills, and join in on the fun.

Drivers, including green P platers, entered the drug and alcohol-free competition at their own risk, with each vehicle competing in two heats, followed by a qualifying round.

There were some decent prizes up for grabs including fishing gear and eskies.
