At Harford Day, our Little Dragons (ages 3-4) are welcomed into a nurturing, play-based learning environment where creativity, independence, and imagination are fostered through daily activities. With an interdisciplinary curriculum centered on engaging, thematic units of study, students develop early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills through purposeful exploration, investigation, and play. Learning is enriched by dedicated classes in Art, Music, Spanish, Library/Media, and P.E., providing opportunities for discovery beyond the Preschool building. With dedicated and specialized spaces and access to our entire secure campus with full-time security personnel on site, Little Dragons grow in confidence, character, and curiosity while building a strong foundation for future academic success.

At Harford Day, our Preschool Program (Little Dragons for ages 3-4 and K-Prep for ages 4-5) provides a warm, engaging environment where children build a strong foundation during their most formative years.

Through small class sizes, nurturing relationships, and developmentally appropriate instruction, our expert faculty foster curiosity, confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning while supporting each child's individual growth.

As members of the Harford Day community from their earliest school experience, Preschool students benefit from access to our entire secure campus, dedicated early childhood learning spaces, and enriching experiences with specialized teachers in Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Library/Media, and Art. Through hands-on exploration, purposeful play, and meaningful discovery, children develop the academic, social-emotional, and creative skills that prepare them for success in Kindergarten and beyond.
