Allow me to begin by wishing you compliments of the new year. 2025 is upon us and need I say endless possibilities are upon us. Every year we usher in a new horizon with the hope of momentus opportunities awaiting us. We started the new year on not such a beautiful note and one can only hope the worst is over, following the death of a giant Dj Tsitso.
This edition is dedicated to his legacy and the reminder that when one door closes, another opens. With the rise of social media and content creators saw the birth of Tebogo G Mashego a wave of something new and exciting. We are also hopeful the likes of exciting talents including Dark Sparklz and Miss Pammie, the sky is the limit.
We celebrate the well lived and short lives of Koketso Ramatlo and Gontse Mathibedi. While congratulating Jelly Babie and Entle Kiddies on their mile stones. We concur that for every end life gifts us a new beginning. Sorrows of death are lightened by tears of jubilating new experiences.
With that said life goes on as the title says, Dj Karri continues to make a difference in the lives of ordinary people. While on the other hand Tsekelele continues to make headlines with his juicy and newsworthy lifestyle.

According to a statement issued by his team, Rametsi Daniel Tladi, 37, affectionately known as DJ Tsitso, passed away after he was shot six times. He leaves a legacy of hit songs including Meropa, Chommiyaka Jo, 6 Ekseni, Kuzoba Mnandi, and Baby Boy. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, 4 January 2025 at Mbolekwa Community Hall in Atteridgeville. He died after being shot in Phelindaba, West of Pretoria. The motive for the shooting is still unknown. His killing follows spade of killing of Barcardi artists, including Vusi MaR5, DJ Somebody and Peter Mashata.
Gauteng, mourned the untimely death of it's popular Barcadi musician, who was (37). He reportedly succumbed to injuries sustained in a shooting incident which occurred on the weekend of December and fighting for his life in hospital. The funeral was held on Saturday, 4 January 2025. -
Rapper 25K, who grew up alongside Tsitso, spoke of his influence and mentorship. "He brought a vibe wherever he went. He was always uplifting others and helping them build their brands," 25K shared -
Family, friends, and fans gathered at his home in Atteridgeville, Tshwane, before proceeding to the Mbolekwa Sports Hall for the service. The 37-year-old was tragically shot on 20 December 2024 and succumbed to his injuries on 29 December.
The pioneer of Bacardi music, was celebrated for his contribution to the South African music scene. His adventurous and ambitious nature was highlighted by a family representative who described him as determined to succeed. "He worked tirelessly not just for himself but also for his family, friends, and even those who wronged him," the representative shared.

Tsekeleke's family has taken a step to seek help from social workers following an order to stop his lover Black Cat Girl from managing his bookings. They made an announcement on TikTok that all future bookings for the dancer will be made through them, claiming his girlfriend is mishandling his booking fees. The social media influencer took it to an extent of moving out from the home he was sharing with his lover and went back to the family house amid the family taking over his career.
The family of Tsekeleke confirmed that the social workers told them not to intervene in their son's love life rather handle Tsekeleke’s finances only."We decided to choose Tsekeleke's new manager within the family.
Anyone who wishes to book Tsekeleke will have to contact us. We plead with people to continue bookings Tsekeleke and Black Cat even though she won't be handling the booking fees anymore,"
"We thank his fans for everything, including the support they've been giving us through the tough time as a family. We're glad that peace was made, and that Tsekeleke has returned home. We are not in any altercation with Cat Girl," Tholo family said.

The video went viral as this was her first she publicly revealed her husband known as Koketso Baba Mahlabezulu Brian on social media This comes after she previously revealed she is now officially married woman.

EntleKiddies on Monday the 13th January 2025 opened their third kiddies salon in 21285 Mamelodi East Via Tsamaya ave in Tsakani next to Engen Garage. Established on the 8 February 2022 EntIeKiddies is a children hair salon specializing in hair plaiting, braiding, treatments, hair cutting and many more. They also sell hair accessories manufacture in-house like bonnets, combs and Hair Products Over and above they give advice on how to treat and maintain healthy hair growth for children. Founded by Bonolo Monakedi she says as a mother she found it difficult to get help or suitable salons to cater for her child.
"I had to travel miles away to get kids salon. My daughter became a motivation and stepping stone of the business, basically it made me realize how many other parents go through the same problem I was facing." She said. The business is currently based at Atteridgeville, Pretoria North, and Mamelodi. She told Tsa Pitori that her business strictly caters for children from 1 year upwards. "Our staff is highly skilled, patient and very gentle. You can trust us with your little one and our environment is child friendly, safe, and fun. It was created to give children a feeling of home away from home." She added.
Monakedi says the business priorities are to build a good relationship with parents and getting the community of Atteridgeville to know about them, building a brand that is trusted. "I also want to establish more branches and franchise the business so as to empower and uplift other women through EntIeKiddies " She said
Her salon operates Monday to Friday from 09:0017:00 and Saturday to Sunday from 08:00 - 17:00.
She said her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is that business needs patience, building is a journey so be prepared to cry, rejoice and walk through trials and tribulations.

A missing bolt driver Gontse
Mathibedi famously known as Short Gun Wanjaja was found decreased after he was shot and one suspect has been arrested. This comes after he went missing on the 13th of January and his vehicle, silver car with number plate HR 5C H6 was found abandoned at a park in Hercules. His family was gripped by fear together desperation for his safe return and they released a circulating statement in different social media platforms to seek for community help.
"Our loved one, a Bolt driver, went missing on January 13th, 2025, at around 14:30 pm
He received a ride request and left without disclosing his destination. Uncharacteristically, he didn't inform his girlfriend of his expected return time, and his phone has been unreachable," "We reported his disappearance to the police, who found his car abandoned at a location disclosed by another station. Unfortunately, he was nowhere to be found.
We urge anyone with information to come forward and assist us in locating our missing loved on," the Mathibedi family said.
Gontse was not just an e-hailing driver but also a security guard who protected the community and a gym owner at Soshanguve ext5, he was an inspiration to the community as many people looked up to him.
A friend of a deceased Kabelo Mosoathle shared a heartfelt message in social media. "They shot my best friend, now his kids are fatherless because a person with a gun who woke up and decided they going to kill on that day Gontse never had a beef with anyone instead he would say asomblief ngwana mma.
They took away a bread winner, a person who came with an idea to open a gym mokasi for us to pursue healthy active life style but motho decided to shoot him then dump his car," he said.
The circumstances surrounding his tragic death and disappearance are unclear at the moment. The police have launched investigation.

Kekana Gardens Cemetery in Hammanskraal, Tshwane, was the final resting place for 17-year-old Koketso Ramatlo, who was brutally murdered in a shocking crime that has left her community devastated. Mourners gathered to bid farewell, remembering Koketso as a loving and promising young girl. Her tragic story began when she went missing on Wednesday, 1 January Days later, on Friday, 3 January her lifeless, burnt, and naked body was discovered outside her family home.
Solly Shabangu, a community leader and family representative, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received. "It takes a village to raise a child. A neighbor is important to the community because they are often the first to know about family matters, especially in times like this," he said.
Joel Motau, head of maths, science, and technology at Lethamaga Secondary School, lamented Koketso's untimely passing. "Her death has left a void, not just for her family but for all of us. We had high hopes for her future," he shared.
School Governing Body (SGB) chairman Sipho Baloyi strongly condemned the gruesome murder, demanding justice for Koketso. "We call upon the police and udiciary not to fail us. Koketso didn't deserve to die like this. The school is deeply traumatised," he stated.
Koketso's best friends, Rorisang Mmoto and Tshepiso Shiburi, expressed their grief, remembering the cherished moments they shared with her. "We will miss her dearly. May her soul rest in peace," they said.
As the community mourns this heartbreaking loss, there is a growing demand for those responsible to be brought to justice. Koketso's tragic fate serves as a painful reminder of the violence faced by young women, leaving many calling for stronger action against such crimes.

Biri Marung hit maker Tebogo G Mashego took it to Instagram to announce that he's working on a new hitsong with e.tv Scandal! actor Sello Sebotsane. This comes after the talented actor was trending on social media for his hilarious TikTok videos this month. Sebotsanels viral videos show him singing popular house music with a towel wrapped on his head.
The legendary actor was previously married to Skeem Saam co-star Shoki Mmola who played the role of Cecelia Kunutu . He posted a Tik Tok video earlier this year, to confirm that he is taking medication for depression. His fans expressed their concerns over his mental health after they saw trending videos of him rehearsing.
Tebogo G Mashego, who grew up in Itireleng in Laudium, Tshwane, began his journey as a TikTok content creator before breaking into the music scene in 2024. He rose to fame after his song Biri Marung featuring DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Scotts Maphuma, Sje Konka, and CowBoii, reached global audience and won song of the year title on numerous radio stations.
