Future Stars Basketball Learn the FUNdamentals of basketball with instruction in passing, dribbling, and shooting! This camp is open to both boys and girls. Energy Engineers Energy Engineers is geared toward upper elementary and middle school students who have a passion for designing, building, tinkering, and experimenting with machines. With a STEM focus, this camp encourages students to build machines with K’Nex, to solve problems through exploration and experimentation, to collaborate with other members of their “Design Team,” all while learning about renewable energy sources and electricity. Activities include building roller coasters, a windmill, solar car, sail car, water-powered car, various types of generators, wind-powered water lift, crank man, shuttle ride, grist mill, and water wheel. Students will come away with a better understanding of energy, simple circuits, and electricity, all while having fun. Driver’s Education This course will help prepare future drivers with 6 hours of behind the wheel driving and 30 hours of classroom instruction. Driving time will be scheduled on an individual basis. By completing this course, your child will have fulfilled the Joshua’s Law requirement to obtain their license and will also be eligible to receive a break on insurance premiums. Additional instruction will include parallel parking, pre-trip inspection, and a hands-on tutorial on changing a flat tire.

Super Splashers Camp Students will splash in the water, play water games, throw water ballons, and much more as we celebrate being out of school for SUMMER! Summer Fun S.T.E.A.M. Camp Summer is here, so why not combine water fun and summer activities with S.T.E.A.M.? Science, Technology, Engeneering, Art, and Mathematics challenges keep campers engaged in collaborative, problem solving, and brainbusting fun! Campers will dive into S.T.E.A.M. activities as they work through water challenges (such as designing water slides, racing camper made boats), make a solar oven, and much much more! Boys and Their Toys At this camp, students will use their creative minds to enhance their imagination through super heroes, hot wheels and monster truck day, lego day, creating and learning about dinosaurs, and much more! Baseball Camp Tattnall Baseball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game with emphasis on hitting, throwing, catching, defense, pitching, and baserunning. Campers will learn the “Tattnall Way� in a fun setting where they will get individual attention, video feedback, and be able to learn a strong foundation of skills and drills that they can take with them after they leave camp. Coach Hiller will be the lead instructor and will be assisted by his current Varsity level players. Summer with Seuss Reading Campers will read, write, craft, and create as we enjoy the wonderful writings of Dr. Seuss. Fancy Nancy Camp Come spend the week with us as we enjoy the adventures of Fancy Nancy. Dress up, tea parties, fancy pajamas and all things girly! Campers will also be exposed to the fabulous writing from Fancy Nancy author, Jane O’Connor, through literacy centers, writing, and drama. First grade and above may take Accelerated Reader tests on Fancy Nancy books too. All About S.T.E.M. Camp Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - all combined with a different theme each day. Themes will be Star Wars, Super Hero, Lego, Detective, and Space. Campers will dive into S.T.E.M. activities as they use problem solving, creativity, and collaboration to “escape the room,” build a robot, and much much more! Soccer Camp This camp focuses on the fundamentals of soccer skills and competitive play. Players will go through skill sessions followed by position specific coaching. We will be focusing on proper defending, striking, game strategy, and overall technique. American Girl Camp Come explore the adventures of American girls from colonial times to the present through crafting, games, and imaginative play with the dolls. Wacky Science Camp Come join us as we investigate the wacky world of science! If your naturally curious child loves experimenting and making new discoveries about science, as well as building and tinkering, then this is a camp he or she won’t want to miss! Students will enjoy activities such as launching rockets, digging for fossils, making simple circuits, investigating aerodynamics, dissecting owl pellets, exploring simple machines, designing original machines, making slime, engineering roller coasters, and doing many other WACKY science experiments that kids love! Trojan Football Camp This youth camp is intended to provide a fundamental foundation for the game of football within a fun and competitive environment. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun At this camp, students will put their creative energies to use to make their own unicorns and trolls while enjoying a pedi and mani day, hair styling day, tea party day, getting ready for 4th of July, and more! Robotics S.T.E.A.M. Camp Upper elementary or middle schoolers who are fascinated by robots and other “techie toys” or who love to “tinker” will love this STE(A)M camp! Students will be introduced to robotics and coding as they explore some cool robots and program them to complete various tasks. They also will be given opportunities to make/build a couple of small working robots to take home. We will also explore some super cool games and apps like Snap Circuits, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and others. This camp encourages “out of the box” thinking, curiosity, lots of imagination, inventiveness and a love for technology! Elementary Spanish Camp (2 dates) Come join us for an exciting week where children will learn and study the history, culture, and traditions of Spanish speaking countries! Campers will learn basic Spanish speaking skills, make fun crafts including a pinata, play popular children’s games, and will end the week with a Mexican fiesta! Mrs. Bartow is beyond excited to share her love of Spanish and the Mexican culture with all of her campers! Intro to Volleyball This camp focuses on the introduction of the sport with lessons in rotation, scoring, and rules. Campers will learn basic volleyball fundamentals in passing, setting, spiking, serving, and having fun. The goal of this camp is to give students an understanding of volleyball. Exciting Explorers This camp will awaken young minds to the wonders of science. Through science activities and experiments they will learn to enjoy the world of science. We will explore the oceans, find treasures, follow the path of marbles, “follow” rainbows, discover dinosaur fossils, watch volcanoes erupt, and more! Softball “Futures” Camp Each camper will get the full experience of what a day-in-the-life of a Tattnall Softball player is like. Coach Hiller will run practices that are identical to those he structures for his Varsity Softball team. Campers will go through these practices right beside the varsity players, who will be assisting. Campers will receive a mock-Tattnall uniform that they will wear to camp/practice each day. We’re Big Kids Now! Come and see what the big kids do! Rising 1st graders are invited to come and experience life in a 1st grade setting. The Campers will cover daily routines, phonics, and math. We will review sight words, sentence structure and reading skills. This camp will help ensure that your child is ready to begin 1st grade. If you or your child are nervous about the transition to 1st grade, let us help ease your nerves. Camp Kindergarten Come join us as we get ready to kick off Kindergarten! Rising K5 students will learn daily routines, explore the school, go over rules and procedures, meet new friends, and practice basic beginning skills.
