WES ALLEN

• To Hunter I leave DB drills with JB and a shot at the triple jump state title.

• To Clay I leave a spot playing both ways for the rest of your career. Get used to it bud.

• To Luke I leave my captain band.

• To Jake, Cooper, Ty, Avery, Davis, and Alex I leave an open spot playing sub-par acoustic in the chapel band.

• To Coach Bowker I leave another student to discuss politics and golf with as well as call you Boach Cowker everyday in class.

• To Coach Way I leave another student for you to write an absurd amount of recommendation letters for.

• To Slayton I leave you all the goals I didn’t get to score this year.

My favorite high school memories:

• Being in the student section during basketball games.

• All our conversations during study hall in the senior lounge.

• Led Zeppelin jam sessions during chapel band practice.

• Winning a region title in football.

• Going to Chick-fil-A at least three times a week for senior lunch.

• Ping pong tournaments in the senior lounge.

• The locker room after beating FPD. • Being a junior dancer.

• Winning back to back state championships in baseball. I wish we could’ve had the chance to win a third, but I was extremely lucky to have those guys as my teammates. I will love those guys and this school always!

“As I leave the halls of Tattnall, I will miss most the friends and teachers I will be leaving. The people at Tattnall have become family over the years and leaving this school feels like leaving home. I cannot wait for the next years of my life, but I will never forget how influential Tattnall has been in making me who I am.

• My first day at Tattnall, when Kenna Epps aggressively asked if I was “The Walker Bryant” and acted let down when I responded yes.

• Getting the opportunity to sit with my best friends at lunch and embarrass myself as teachers overheard the SDW conversations.

• Having Mrs. Smothers as a math teacher and spending hours after school to raise my grade while learning valuable life lessons.

• Riding home from the Vestavia Hills Math Meet and drinking a whole bottle of Pepto.

• Running off the stage at One Act competition and creating fake sound effects.

• Running cross country and playing soccer for Coach Haley during my senior year.

• Learning amazing dance moves from Mrs. Stuart during junior dance and having her as a mentor.

• Walking into Mrs. Adams’s class every day doing the HOBY-O and going to see Little Women in the theatre.

• Drawing my “Happy Little Accidents” mural for Ms. Nuefeld and framing it for all to see.

• Continuously going into Mrs. Clay’s office to get life advice and asking her how to fill out a simple application, sometimes tears were involved lol.

DRAKE BYRD Last will:

• I leave winning a state championship in shooting to Baylor and Skylar.

My favorite high school memories:

• All the shooting tournaments and practices.

• Growing in my golf game.

• To the softball team, thank you for being my sisters these last few years! I am going to miss each and every one of y’all!

• To Coach Dresden, I leave someone else to make fun of 24/7 and someone to give you daily hugs.

• To Jody, I leave someone to understand your constant Finding Nemo references and thank you for always being there to help me through my countless injuries.

• To Mrs. Stuart, I leave another teacher’s aide, and thank you for the countless hours you spent to make both our junior and senior dances something we will never forget.

MADDIE DOZIER

• To my sister, Lily Campbell, I leave you 13 more wonderful years at TSA, and I pinky promise to come back and celebrate every milestone along the way!

• To Baylor Scott, I leave someone to help you get through one more year of soccer and yearbook; make it count!

• To Emma Lossiah, I leave another teacher’s aid to help you grade papers and wrap all of Mr. D’s things at Christmas time.

• To Mr. D, I leave another student to laugh at all of your jokes and relate to your teacher struggles, and I leave another group of friends to come bother you after school all the time.

• To Mrs. Clay, I leave another girl to show up unannounced in your office and discuss life, college, and everything in between.

• To Mrs. Stuart, I leave someone to help you carry out extravagant plans for faculty follies and the talent show each year (even if it requires working until 10 PM on a school night).

• To Mrs. Peavy, I leave another yearbook editor and friend.

• To Jody Burnett, I leave another trainer that cares as much as you do and will laugh at all of your jokes.

“Tattnall has been my home for the past 4 years. I’m going to miss so much about TSA. Tattnall has given me friends and relationships that I will cherish for a lifetime. However, I will especially miss wearing the Trojans across my chest and 22 on my back. I gave my heart and soul every time I stepped in between the white lines. I will miss the cheers of the Tattnall family in the stands. I will miss my coaches who have pushed me to be greater than I ever imagined. I will miss my teammates who became brothers on the field. Tattnall has made me into the person and Baseball player I am today, and I am proud to say that I will always be a Trojan.”

• The away Stratford basketball game my senior year (we lost, but it was the hypest environment I’ve ever been in).

• The Elite 8 baseball game this year vs Strong Rock • Every math meet I ever went on “What I will miss most about Tattnall is the friendly and Christian environment that is made up of a dedicated staff who truly want students to succeed. The school has been a second home and second family to me, and I am thankful for the memories and friendships I have made here.”

Growing up in a family with an older sibling who went to Tattnall and my dad who taught here, I really grew up always being around Tattnall. Tattnall is a tightly knit family and I’m glad I got to be a part of it for 14 years.”

“The thing I will miss most about Tattnall is the family-like atmosphere. When I walk through those front doors every morning, I do not feel like I am walking into school, but rather into a second home. The teachers and coaches love and care for the students more than anywhere else, and everyone is so friendly.”
