WHY TIRE & WHEEL COVERAGE?
No matter how carefully you drive, you can’t always avoid the pothole or debris that suddenly appears – leaving you stranded with a flat tire or damaged wheel! With Tire & Wheel Protection you’ll enjoy the security of 24/7 roadside assistance, have coverage from start to finish for the repair or replacement of your damaged tire or wheel, all with no deductible. Plus, payments are made directly to the service provider so you can skip the hassle and avoid hidden fees!
TIRE REPAIR & REPLACEMENT: Provides coverage to repair tires damaged by a covered road hazard* and/or curb impact. If a tire is not repairable, it will be replaced with a tire of like kind, quality and cost. Coverage is valid through the tread life of a tire (3/32" or less is excluded). WHEEL/RIM REPAIR & REPLACEMENT: Provides coverage to repair wheels damaged by a covered road hazard* and/ or curb impact. If a wheel is not repairable, it will be replaced with a wheel of like kind, quality and cost. MOUNTING & BALANCING: Provides coverage for tire mounting, balancing, valve stems, and tire disposal. (Shop supplies, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) components and unspecified charges are excluded.) TAXES: We’ll pay the cost of local and state taxes for any components replaced under your agreement.
24/7 EMERGENCY ROADSIDE BENEFITS
BATTERY ASSISTANCE If a battery failure occurs, we’ll provide roadside service to jump start your vehicle at no cost.
FLUID DELIVERY If you run out of gas or need oil, fluids or water, we’ll bring an emergency supply of up to 3 gallons (of each fluid needed) to your location.*
*Covered road hazards include potholes, rocks, wood debris, metal parts, nails, glass, plastic or composite scraps or any item causing tire or wheel damage other than wear and tear. Coverage may not be available in all states, please see contract for all details. Restrictions & limitations may apply.
TOWING ASSISTANCE If your covered vehicle won’t start, we’ll tow it to the closest licensed service facility or to any other location requested at no cost for up to 25 miles.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR COVERAGE CHROME / CHROME CLAD WHEELS: Provides coverage to repair chrome and/or chrome clad wheels. If a wheel is not repairable, it will be replaced with a wheel of like kind and quality. This surcharge is mandatory as it applies. OPTIONAL COSMETIC WHEEL REPAIR/REPLACEMENT: This option provides coverage to repair or recondition (to the fullest extent possible) any wheel damaged by impact with a road hazard and/or curb which does not render a wheel unserviceable. This includes minor curb rash, flaking paint, and/ or other damage that does not cause the wheel to lose its seal with its tire. If a wheel is not repairable, it will be replaced with a wheel of like kind and quality. Cosmetic wheel repair and/or replacement is limited to a total aggregate benefit of $600 payable during the agreement period.*
*If vehicle is financed by Ford Motor Credit, the aggregate limit of liability is not applicable.
LOCK-OUT ASSISTANCE If you accidently lock your keys inside your covered vehicle, we’ll send assistance to gain entry into it for you at no cost.
FLAT TIRE ASSISTANCE If you get a flat, we’ll send assistance to remove and replacement it with your good spare tire.
