BY YOUR SIGNATURE BELOW, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS GAP ADDENDUM IS VOLUNTARY AND IS NOT REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR YOU TO OBTAIN CREDIT, DOES NOT IMPACT YOUR ABILITY TO OBTAIN ANY PARTICULAR OR MORE FAVORABLE CREDIT TERMS, AND HAS NO EFFECT ON THE TERMS OF THE RELATED SALE OF THIS COVERED VEHICLE. The GAP Amount may decrease over the term of Your Financing Contract and may not extend for the full term of Your Financing Contract. You may wish to consult an alternative source to determine whether similar Benefits may be obtained and at what cost. You acknowledge that this Addendum supersedes any other representations made. If You purchase this Addendum from this Dealer/Creditor, You understand that the Dealer/Creditor may retain all or a portion of the charge paid by You. This Addendum includes a binding arbitration clause. You acknowledge that you have read and understand the entire Addendum and its terms and conditions which may reduce or prevent you from receiving all or part of the Benefits due under this Addendum. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL: You have the unconditional right to cancel this optional Addendum for a refund/credit of the unearned portion of the charge for this Addendum at any time. If any cancellation occurs within thirty (30) days of the Addendum purchase You will receive a full refund/credit of the Addendum cost. After thirty (30) days, a refund/credit of the Addendum cost will be calculated by the pro rata method, or by the refund method as may be required by state or federal law, less a $50.00 cancellation fee. If You choose to cancel this Addendum, You must request a refund/credit, from the Dealer/Creditor, in writing, at the address shown above. In the event of Constructive Total Loss and a Benefit is waived, the Addendum will be deemed as fully earned and no refund will be due. ASSIGNMENT: This Addendum will remain a part of the Financing Contract if the Financing Contract or lease is assigned, sold or transferred by the Dealer/Creditor. Enjoy maximum protection against costly repairs with TruVSC Exclusionary coverage. This top level protection includes coverage on all factory installed mechanical or electrical components except those items listed in the exclusions section* of your contract. Coverage also includes all of the additional benefits listed on the outside panel of this brochure, plus the following:
RENTAL CAR: Up to $50 per day for up to 7 days after a covered claim is opened. LABOR: Labor rate is modified up to $150 based on All Data time to repair or replace a covered component as part of an authorized repair. FLUIDS: Up to $200 fluid allowance for any covered repair including the applicable refrigerant. DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES: Up to 2 hours or $200 diagnostics coverage (whichever is less). We will provide coverage for any breakdown of your vehicle, less the selected deductible, except for items listed in the service contract in the section, “WHAT IS NOT COVERED”. * EXCLUDED ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Maintenance, rust, corrosion, body repairs, convertible tops, leaks, squeaks, rattles, sun damage, weather stripping, graphic equalizers, DVD players, VHS players, speakers, visual and other electronic equipment (including game systems), telephones, radar detectors and GPS equipment (unless factory installed), and electronic transmitting/receiving devices, and all other items not covered by the original manufacturer. WRAP If your vehicle is currently covered under a manufacturer’s powertrain warranty, you can “wrap” this coverage around it and enjoy top-level exclusionary protection for a reduced cost. This plan covers all approved repairs for any failure** EXCEPT any component that was originally covered under the manufacturer’s powertrain warranty, and those items listed in the exclusions section* of your contract. Coverage also includes all of the great additional benefits listed on this brochure, PLUS the following: RENTAL CAR: Up to $50 per day for up to 7 days after a covered claim is opened. LABOR: Modified to $150 maximum. FLUIDS: Modified to $200 maximum fluid allowance for any covered repair including applicable refrigerant. DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES: Modified to up to 2 hours or $200 diagnostics coverage (whichever is less).
WHAT’S COVERED
HIGH MILEAGE PROGRAM VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACTS FOR VEHICLES UP TO 20 YEARS OLD AND WITH UP TO 200,000 MILES
ENGINE: cylinder block, cylinder heads, and all internally lubricated parts including: pistons, piston pins, piston rings, connecting rods, connecting bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft and lifters/followers (lifters or followers which have not failed, and only require cleaning are NOT covered), intake and exhaust valves, push rods, rocker arm shafts, rocker arms, and timing drive components including timing chains/belts (timing chain or belt which is being changed as part of the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance schedule is NOT covered) valve train covers, intake and exhaust manifolds, flywheel, oil pump, and oil pan, internal engine sensors AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: transmission case and all internally lubricated parts, planetary gear systems, clutch and steel packs, clutch drums, bands, internal seals, pump, valve body, internal sensors, internal solenoids, and overrunning or one way clutch assemblies, torque converter, and torque converter housing STANDARD TRANSMISSION: transmission case and all internally lubricated parts, input shaft, output shaft, idler shafts, main shaft, and all internal gears, synchronizer assemblies, and shaft forks (standard transmission clutch assemblies, linkages, and hydraulic clutch units are NOT covered) TRANSFER CASE: transfer case on all four wheel drive vehicles and all internally lubricated parts DIFFERENTIAL: front or rear differential housing and all internally lubricated parts (excluding wheel bearings), drive shaft universal joints SEALS & GASKETS: provides replacement of seals and gaskets which are leaking fluids (lubricants or coolant), slight seepage is not considered to be a covered repair, (vacuum leaks are not covered) AIR CONDITIONING: ac compressor, ac clutch and clutch coil on vehicles with factory 134 air conditioning units, condenser, condenser fan motor AXLE SHAFTS: on front wheel drive vehicles covered after the greater of 30 days or 1000 miles (boot failure or damage resulting from boot failure is NOT covered)
