The Trumbull County Educational Service Center hosted the 37th Annual Civic Day, on Friday, March 31st, at the DiVieste Banquet Center. The event, which highlighted the importance of civic duties, brought together 20 Trumbull County School districts, over 100 students, and multiple civic officials from Trumbull County.
The event's keynote speaker was Col. Jeff Van Dootingh, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing Youngstown Air Reserve Station. With over 30 years of distinguished service, Col. Van Dootingh provided a unique perspective on civic duties and their role. He also shared his valuable experiences and insights with the students to motivate and encourage them to be more responsible citizens.
