At the beginning of the second semester, Glen Primary School launched a new program aimed at rewarding students for their good behaviors. Every day, each student has the opportunity to earn Tiger Tickets. All school employees have Tiger Tickets and are encouraged to hand them out to students who are caught being good or doing something kind. The tickets that are earned are then placed into classroom buckets. Once a month, principal Carl Clark goes to each classroom and selects two tickets from the bucket. The 24 students, whose tickets are drawn, are then given a Tiger Ticket Passbook. The passbook contains about a dozen opportunities for students to enjoy including having lunch with the principal, earning an extra recess for your classroom and getting a prize from the mystery bag. Classroom teachers also draw tickets from the buckets throughout the month to reward students for their behaviors.
