2021 Summer of Growth

Summer of Growth 2020 TCESC is offering a series of virtual workshops in three formats. Our Online workshops listed on pages 4-13 will require participants to complete Schoology modules at their own pace. For the synchronous workshops on pages 14-18, participants must attend all scheduled virtual meetings. Face-to-Face workshops on pages 19-22, participants must attend all face-to-face sessions. Contact hours and college credits will be available with these professional learning opportunities. Each Ashland graduate workshop credit requires a total of 12.5 contact hours and additional assignment work.

All workshops are FREE to employees from the following aligned districts: Bloomfield-Mespo, Bristol, Brookfield, Champion, Girard, Howland, Hubbard, Joseph Badger, LaBrae, Liberty, Lordstown, Maplewood, Mathews, McDonald, Newton Falls, Niles, Southington, TCESC, and Weathersfield.

For all other participants, there is a $50 fee for each 6.25 contact hours acquired. Check with your administration on district procedures regarding payment.

TCESC Registration Information ● Register for all workshops through the online TCESC registration system. Registration will be open from May 3, 2021, to May 26, 2021. If you do not have a TCESC account, you will need to create one. No telephone or email registrations will be accepted. Registration is online only. ● You will receive an email confirming your registration. ● You will receive contact hours for online workshops through the TCESC registration system after completing each workshop for those not taking a course for graduate credit. All questions related to acceptance of contact hours must be directed to your LPDC. **It is important to note; if you took an online course last year and take the same course this year, your LPDC may not accept the same course again. Ashland University Registration Information Obtaining College Credit ● Contact hours are NOT available if you take graduate credit.
