TrueNorth 2013
WORK GROUP Forbes Top 50 Best
We determined our benchmarks for measurement of trust and culture in 2013 with our First Annual Culture Survey. As you can see illustrated in the chart, we rank slightly behind the Top 50 Best Small & Medium Companies in the U.S. Our ability in turning the feedback into action, gaining clarity and gaining everyone’s commitment to our culture will be key steps for improvement.

ORGANIZATION
“We asked, You spoke... WE LISTENED” FIRST PRIORITIES OPENNESS
A suggestion & idea tool will be made available to all locations to ensure openness exists all year long. Submissions will be anonymous and will be administered by members of the Leadership or Executive team.
INCENTIVES
Effective in 2014, we will move to a partial payout of annual scorecard bonus in July based on mid-year performance. This will be designed to reward and recognize individuals and teams that are making great progress in the 1st and 2nd quarters of the year. Remaining payout will still come in December as it has in previous years.
CLARITY
Dynamic Culture workshops are in development to help define and bring clarity to our company culture.
BENEFITS
We remain very competitive in our job markets and in the industry on salaries, wages and overall benefits. We will be studying job grades, pay ranges and additional benefits programs in Q4 of 2013 to see where there are opportunities.
ENGAGEMENT
A culture committee was established at the leadership level during implementation this year. As planned, we will move forward with adding other team members to the committee as we move forward. More to come!
make TrueNorth’s success possible: erience, Business Development, and as important, and works in tandem to oposition as a partner to our clients & mployees.
This is just the beginning. We still have topics to strategically address, such as communication & accountability. Building a DYNAMIC CULTURE is something that can take years for traditional companies. We will continue to find creative ways to gather feedback, accept ideas, and work toward long term solutions to make TrueNorth an even greater place to work. All of these efforts in building our DYNAMIC CULTURE can be defined by a few words:
“TRUST IN TRUENORTH”
