Four Seasons of Fun
Welcome to the Goldilocks zone.
Although, “Camelot” could be another way of describing Utah Valley — a place that enjoys four true seasons. Perfect all the year.
It’s true. One can almost imagine that a law was made a distant moon ago here where July and August cannot be too hot.
And, as anyone who’s attended a football game at BYU’s LaVell Edwards Stadium can attest, summer most de nitely lingers through September.
Move a little too far south and you’ll be overheating six months of the year. Go a little too far north and you’ll be experiencing winter from potentially October to March.
Utah Valley is a sweet spot.
For those who like to hike and boat in the summer and those who like to ski in the winter just minutes from your front door — Utah Valley is the place to be.
Visitors also say Utah Valley takes rst place when it comes to friendly locals, world-class attractions and a ordable, tasty food creations.
If you’re an outdoor enthusiast try y shing the Provo River (page 15), hiking the
11,753 foot elevation Mount Timpanogos (page 13) or skiing at Sundance Mountain Resort (page 15).
If you’re more indoorsy, enjoy delicious food at one of our local restaurants (page 32) or take in the arts at one of our many local theaters (page 30) or simply crash your weary head at one of our elegant hotels (page 45).
Utah Valley is chock-full of creative people who have a re within to create never-before-seen attractions and ideas. Well-known bands like Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees got their starts at Provo’s Velour Live Music Gallery, Robert Redford fell in love with Utah Valley in 1969 and purchased Sundance Ski Resort where he spends much of his time, and Karen and Alan Ashton, founders of the word processing company WordPerfect, used their wealth to create anksgiving Point in Lehi – home to museums, gardens and ne dining.
No matter what brings you to our neck of the woods, thank you for visiting, and we hope you stay a while.
