arlier this year, together with our friends at Fundación Ecuatoriana Equidad, we launched a civic campaign designed to help the LGBTIQ+ community in Ecuador better understand the electoralprocess,makeinformeddecisions,andget to know – up close and personal – not just political parties,butalsotheLGBTIQ+candidatesrunningfor theNationalAssembly
Through bold, straightforward, and informative socialmediaposts,andapowerfulpaneldiscussion featuring candidates truly committed to democracy, participation, and human rights, this campaignshowedussomethingclear: Knowledgeispower.Votingisatoolforchange.
Butitalsoremindedusofsomethingelse.
We still have a long road ahead when it comes to true inclusion not only for LGBTIQ+ people, but for allhistoricallyexcludedcommunities. At Tru Relief, we believe inclusive political education is a fundamental step toward a more just and participatory society This initiative is only the beginning.

Access to hygiene is a matter of dignity.

nmanypartsofFlorida,accesstobasichygieneproductsis not a given. Alongside the already urgent issue of food insecurity, many families and individuals in vulnerable situations also face challenges in obtaining essential hygiene items thingsmostofustakeforgranted.
Recognizing this reality, Tru Relief established a year-long partnership with our friends at The Picnic Project to support their School Market Day initiative an ongoing effort that provides access to food, hygiene, and essential items for familiesandindividualsinneed
As part of this effort, Tru Relief also teamed up with local businessestosetuphygienedonationstationsthroughoutthe community The response was inspiring Thanks to your generosity, we collected over 500 hygiene items, which have already been distributed during two delivery days, directly benefitingmorethan260people. Here’sjustsomeofwhatwewereabletodeliver:

Ourcampaign,#ORGULLOSXS25,wasmorethanjustasetofevents itwasanopeninvitationto walktogether,raiseawarenessaboutourongoingstruggles,andcreatesafe,inclusivespacesfor allidentities
Thisyear,westayedrootedinourthreeguiding pillars: awareness, education, and empowerment. With that in mind, we joined forces with Efraín Soria from Fundación Ecuatoriana Equidad to host a powerful series ofcommunityconversations spacesdesigned specificallyfortheLGBTIQ+communitytolearn, reflect,andconnect
These conversations addressed pressing gaps in access to inclusive education and safe dialogue on identity, health, and political participation
